Maple Star is a private not for profit foster care agency that also specializes in therapeutic interventions with all families. We also provide an in home intensive family therapy program for preventing out of home placement or as youth transition back to their family unit.

History

Established in 1994.

Maple Star operates in three jurisdictions — Colorado, Nevada, and Oregon. Each is autonomous, having a separate company with its own Board of Directors and Executive Director; policies that are tailored to the regulatory and licensing requirements in each jurisdiction; and variations in the types of children or youth served and programs offered. Maple Star Nevada is a wholly owned subsidiary of Providence Service Corporation who also offers services through a management agreement with Maple Star Colorado and Maple Star Oregon.
