I asked several fencing companies for quotes and all have been very nice to work with except Ken. After a few days, all he had replied with was «Would you like wood or metal?» When I didn’t hear anything else from him days later, I told him that it didn’t sound like he was interested in the work (everyone other contractor replied within a day if not within hours). He then snapped at me for not giving him my address and phone number (he never asked) and for my last name not being listed on my Unilocal profile. Not the way to start a job if you’re a professional. I guess he claims all of the one star reviews are fictitious, so I’ll post a screenshot of his responses if need be.
Edit: Once again, Ken calls people fake if they leave him a negative review. Unresponsive, rude, and now he lies and makes fun of the avatar my girlfriend added to our Unilocal profile. Since he denies that I’m real or he dealt with me, I’ve posted the screenshot of our conversation in the pictures.

These guys came to the rescue immediately. I was extremely impressed by their professionalism, timeliness, and quality of work. They not only went above and beyond to fix my fence, but they were so kind and respectful to work with, I have nothing but nice things to say.

The company’s response to the review didn’t solve anything. My parents are NOT satisfied with the work that was done. That is why the review was written in the first place. Ken G Fence did NOT complete all work that was discussed in the contract. And he has still NOT issued the refund that was promised for the work he did not complete.

Ken called me the same day I reached out to him for a job I needed at one of my properties I manage. He was able to get the job done within 1 day and the crew was very friendly. I’m very please with the work they did for the iron fence. I will definitely be using him for any other future projects I have for the properties I manage.

KenG Fence is built off family values combined with professionalism. Of the few times I have had the opportunity to speak with Ken over the phone, or any times when we had to email back and forth, all I can say is he was very courteous and never rude. It was such a pleasure being able to interact with someone that strives to make the conversation fun, friendly, and memorable. If more companies that started up had the heart, passion, and motivation as this, there would be WAY more family businesses around.

The person that came out to give me an estimate asked me how many feet of fencing and # of gates I needed when he showed up. I had this information from previous estimates so I just told him I had that (it was raining outside, so fair enough). He asked me what the previous quotes were (they were between 4−7K a few years ago). Then he says that I «really should’ve had my fence put in years ago because costs have gone by at least 30%.» This alone was unprofessional not to mention a completely unhelpful thing to say. The person then asked me what my budget was. I replied that don’t have one, I just need a fence. (The estimate should not be based on my budget!?). The person then showed me a calculator total of ~$ 12,300 saying that’s how much it will cost. Wow! Really? So off he went.
I have since gotten detailed estimates for $ 4,450, $ 5,900, and $ 6,200 for the exact same job and tasks for prep. My impression is that this person was not interested in taking my job. Either that or this company charges twice what three other BBB-​approved fence providers have furnished to me. I would steer clear of this one.

Ken never called me back with the estimate when I contacted him he was rude sounded too busy for my few questions mumbled and hung up on me very unprofessional and I would not recommend ken to
anyone 0 stars.

Wow, I am so impressed! I had just adopted a German shepherd and was in a hurry to have a privacy fence built, so he could have access to the yard when I’m at work. After a few failed attempts to meet with another fence company, I found KenG online on a Sunday morning and gave him a call. Not only did he answer (on a Sunday morning!) but he was at my house within a couple hours to give me an estimate. And since he had owned two smart husky mixes himself, he knew exactly what would keep my dog from getting out of the backyard. Throughout the entire process, he kept in touch with me and sent me photos every step of the way. By Wednesday, my fence was complete. If you want quality workmanship by a reliable company, I recommend KenG Fence, hands down.

I called quite a few fencing companies before finally find Keng Fence. A lot of times, I would leave messages and no one would call me back! Ken answered the phone right away and, when I explained what I thought the issue was, he explained in laymen’s terms what he thought the actual problem with my fence posts were. In addition, he made himself available during lunch hours to meet my husband at our house to give him an estimate. He even met us in the middle when it came to pricing since we had a lower estimate from another fencing company. He and his crew came over the next day to complete the work while we were at work! It looks great so we are hopeful that it lasts.
The only reason I gave four stars was because we noticed that the access dirt that was dug up was put into our «garden box» that we were going to dig up to plant in. I guess we thought they maybe do the haul away of that stuff but I guess we were wrong. Overall though, a great experience.
