We couldn’t have asked for a more seamless and enjoyable experience with Jolene as our wedding planner. From start to finish, we were floored by Jolene’s incredible attention to aesthetic and practical detail, her savvy and confidence in the orchestration of vendors, and her ability to deliver promptly and thoroughly on all fronts. Beyond her organizational brilliance, she has an uncanny gift in intuiting how to create a wedding truly reflective of the couple’s spirit. Our wedding’s vibe charmed and delighted our guests, every aspect of which stemmed from Jolene’s hard work and penchant for finding the surprise and magic in an experience. Jolene is more like an artist than a planner, in my mind, creating events from scratch that are authentically calibrated to the clients’ spirit while driven by her own unique and eclectic style.

Hiring Jolene as our Day-​of-​Coordinator was and is the best decision we’ve ever made for our wedding. My husband and I couldn’t agree more on this. And I am very certain that in years to come when we relive our wedding day, we will still agree that hiring Jolene was the best decision we’ve made.
My husband and I had particular and grand visions on how we wanted our wedding reception to be like. We had specific ideas on the overall look we wanted to achieve for the wedding reception. We were so into planning and outlining all the details of the wedding and that included getting taffeta pintuck table overlays, charger plates, framed table names, etc, that we didn’t think much of who was going to execute all our grand ideas for us on the day itself. The restaurant manager had to run the restaurant and and supervise the kitchen on the day itself, and he wasn’t able to see to all our specific details on the décor. We were very fortunate to have good friends who offered to help us set up, but at the same time we wanted all of them to enjoy themselves fully and not to have to work on our wedding day. That was when we realized the best thing to do was to hire a Day-​of-​Coordinator.
In came Jolene who was ever so responsive to my emails. We would go back and forth via email up to five times a day, even on a Sunday. That was when I knew that Jolene was the one we should hire. If she could respond to my emails multiple times on a Sunday, I knew that she would be reliably there for us throughout the days leading up to our wedding, and most importantly, on our wedding day itself. We had a meeting with our reception restaurant manager, Jolene, and my husband and I. Jolene brought up questions that we didn’t think about and made sure we covered everything. Jolene also took notes at our meeting and very next early morning she sent me a followup email listing the still-​to-​be completed tasks that my husband and I had to work on leading up to the wedding day.
On the wedding day, my husband and I had peace of mind and we were able to enjoy and absorb every moment of our hard work in planning the wedding. We told Jolene how we envisioned specific details to be like on our wedding, and she carried them out for us perfectly. Not only was she there to execute our day-​of vision, but she also acted as a point of reference for our bridal party and guests. My dad wanted a podium for his speech and upon arrival he saw that there was no podium. I asked Jolene if she could put one out for us. And the next time I turned around, she was there setting up the podium. Jolene also made sure that there was a smooth transition between events at the reception. After the reception, we received many compliments from our guests on how well organized everything was and my husband and I have Jolene to thank for this.
Do yourself a favor and get Jolene as your Day-​of-​Coordinator. If you’re getting married and have put so much hard work into wedding planning like my husband and I did, you should reward yourself by leaving the day-​of execution to a true professional like Jolene. She has been there for us from the time we initiated contact and throughout the days leading up to the wedding and most importantly on the wedding day itself. I appreciate all her kind words to us throughout and alleviating our worries of anything that is wedding-​related.

Jolene saved my wedding. No, literally, she did. Yes, we were super organized in the planning process and thought we’d anticipated everything that could happen. But at the end of the day, things can fall apart if you don’t have someone to keep it all together.
Jolene thought of everything. She helped us map out and visualize, in great detail, what our wedding day would be like. She gently coaxed us to consider, step by step, how the entire day would go. She did this all while taking careful notes and without ever being judgmental of my extreme aversion to wedding traditions and my «non-​bridey-​ness». She didn’t try to convince me to wear a veil and a garter, or to throw a bouquet. Instead, she respected my wishes and encouraged us to create a celebration that uniquely reflected us.
She also stayed cool under pressure. Without going into detail, let me just say simply that 911 had to be called at my wedding. Yes, that’s what I said. An ambulance roared to the scene and took away a sick guest. That’s not the only thing that went wrong, but luckily Jolene was there to handle the situation and make sure that I didn’t even know it happened until much later! Instead, I was bridally oblivious, laughing and talking to friends and family (and yes, maybe a little tipsy).
I feel so lucky that Jolene was there behind the scenes to manage it all. Hiring her was the best investment I could have possibly made. I have no regrets and no complaints!

My wife and I hired Jolene to be our Day-​of-​Coordinator for our wedding on Nov. 14, 2009. Our wedding was located in an art center, which was basically an empty warehouse space, and required the services of several separate vendors (Catering, Lights, Flowers, Rentals, etc…) to transform it into the wedding-​space that my wife and I envisioned. Jolene’s help through the entire planning process was simply invaluable — from design ideas and scheduling event flow, to the minutia that my wife and I didn’t even think of.
On our wedding day, Jolene showed up early at the venue and made sure that all the «moving parts» where in sync and on time. Throughout the wedding day itself, she kept us on schedule with our timeline and led the day to a resounding success. In hindsight, my wife and I concluded that we could not have pulled off our «from scratch» wedding without her planning assistance, design ideas, and coordinated-​execution on our wedding day.
