We inspect condo’s, townehomes, duplexes, tri-​plixes, multi-​family dwellings, single family homes, apartment complexes and light commercial sites. In addition, we offer radon and mold testing. All of our inspections include unlimited consultation for as longer as client owns the property.

History

Established in 1999.

Brothers John and David Nichols started HomeSpec of Colorado, Inc. in 1999. Prior to starting HomeSpec, David built houses for 15 years. John was running a landscape company in Fort Collins. Both wanted to do something different. With that in mind, they decided to start a home inspection business. Dave got his feet wet working for an existing company for a year and half. John went to a home inspection school in California and then began working for a a home inspection company as well. In 1998, they made the decision the time was right to start their own business. HomeSpec of Colorado opened it’s door May 1, 1999. Since that time, John and Dave have completed just over 10,000 inspections.
