As an out-of-towner, this was a great spot for me to pick up beers I don’t normally get in New Jersey. Lots of local stuff, plenty of bombers, and a sizable walk-in cold case with more choices than I had time. Do yourself a favor and visit here. Guaranteed you’ll be back.

Great prices and there’s always a good close out beer to try. Guys behind the counter are always having a good time. I love coming here and don’t want to shop anywhere else!

This store has an excellent selection of beer, wine and liquor. The employees are exceptionally knowledgable and I believe that Chris(the beer guru) knows everything there is to possibly know about beer. After only one short visit, Chris remembered my name as well as my boyfriends… calling us by name when we walked in for our second visit tonight?! Awesome staff, amazing selection… we’ve definitely found our new favorite liquor store!

I mainly came in to pick up some hard cider so I could make dirty balls. However I did a quick perusal of the beers in stock — Wow they have quite the selection. It doesn’t seem that large from the outside but looks in this case are definitely deceiving! I will definitely keep this place in mind when I am looking for that special brew.

Best beer store, best staff in town. No attitude, tons of knowledge. Bonus: the selection during the week leading up to GABF might be the greatest thing ever!

Love the staff at Grapevine and selection. They have the best beer selection in town with great prices and monthly beer specials. There is always a special display of something at Grapevine. They also have the best selection/display of Fall/Pumpkin seasonal and Christmas beers. Most of the employees have been there for years and know their stuff whether you are interested in beer, whiskey or wine. They also have a large kosher inventory.

Good liquor store. Not the biggest place, but definitely a good selection of alcohol. Solid barrel picks too. The staff isn’t the friendliest. They’re not rude or mean or anything, they’re just not friendly. Somewhat hesitant to answer questions or have a conversation with a customer. I’m a big whiskey guy, part of the reason I like going to liquor stores is to talk to people about whiskey. I know quite a bit about what I’m talking about but I always like to learn more. Can’t really get that here, but what you can get is good selection and good prices.

The guys are always friendly and know their beer. I always find great deals here, there is a great selection of award winning brews and seasonals I can’t find anywhere else.

This place is awesome because it looks run down and shitty from the outside but as you walk in you are pleasantly impressed with how large it is and how diverse the selection is. One whole wall is just bombers! I’ve only been through a few times for just craft beer so I haven’t branched out to the other selections. The main other thing I get is single malt scotch, so I can’t comment on their selection or pricing yet. But prices seem pretty good for the rest of the beer and it’s walking distance from my house. Staff is always friendly and personable as well!

The expression ‘Don’t judge a book by its cover’ has never been more appropriate here. Full disclosure, I’m reviewing solely based on their beer selection as that is pretty much all i drink and rarely buy liquor and wine. With that said, this place has the best beer selection in this part of town by far. For such a tiny place, they have saved me many a trip to the likes of Lukas Liquors, Argonaut or Tipsy’s. For such a small space, they make the most of it. Always running fantastic deals on bombers and six packs, even having a ‘Brewery of the month/week’ and a dozen other assorted deals. Furthermore, they are great with social media and always posting new arrivals and upcoming deals on facebook. I’ve never done it, but I’ve heard you can reserve certain items via social media — awesome!

This place has an amazing selection of beer and wine. The beer selection is almost staggering it is so extensive! It’s like a candy store for beer lovers. And the staff is super helpful and friendly. The downfall for this place is that it’s a pain to get in and out of at times, and the wine prices are a bit high as you can find some of the same brands at other stores in the area for almost $ 2 — 3 cheaper. Even the«sale» price on some of the wines is higher than what other stores are offering.

I’ve been a customer for many years — maybe 15 or so. The selection — beer, wine, and liquor is good and prices are competitive, especially for beer. Once in a while, I will ask for advice on a liquor — tequila, scotch, or gin, and their recommendations have never missed. I continue to shop here though I shop King Soopers in Glendale for groceries and they sell liquor. The difference is that this is a local shop and the money I spend stays here in Denver instead of being wired to some corporate HQ in NY or LA. Good job, guys. I’ll be back as always.

I was shopping for SO-CAL craft beers following a return from San Diego. After visiting several liquor stores, I finally came across Grapevine Wine and Liquors(GWLs). Their selection of bombers(the 22oz bottles) was on par with that of the large Parker and Arapahoe liquor store, who, by the way, also lacked all of the beers I was seeking. GWLs’ /quantity/on hand may not have been as great, but unless I was looking to stock a local tavern, there was plenty. What’s more, they had what I had searching. Naturally, they also carried an assortment of native Colorado beers in bombers, 6-packs, and(limited-based on the breweries’ distribution/bottling, not the store’s stock) 12-packs. As the name implies, a large portion of the store was wine and inclusive of liquor. While I enjoy wine at some points, I didn’t peruse the selection, as I was in a bit of a hurry. I don’t doubt the selection would be equivalent to that of the beer selection. Relative to the knowledgeable, friendly customer service, the store’s structure was a bit off-putting. The building is old and a bit disorganized inside, but judge this book by the cover. The staff were great and the selections were ample.

A buddy of mine took me to Grapevine shortly after moving to Denver and I’ve yet to find a place to top their beer selection and price combo. Not only do they have an ever growing section of craft beer, it’s priced very well. Most of the time it’s lower than everywhere else. They do a bomber and 6 pack of the month which is always a few dollars cheaper than their even low prices. Often times the bomber of the month turns into the brewery of the month, and all that breweries bombers are discounted. All of these deals are posted on their Facebook page along with anything else they feel like posting. They post a lot of good deals and new/seasonal stuff they get in. The staff is friendly and helpful. They have pointed me in the right direction many times.

I didn’t think I could have a bottle shop experience like this. I’m from Florida, where good customer service in a liquor store usually means that the person at the register didn’t scowl at you. Imagine my surprise when I move to Denver and find this gem a mile away from my new home. The staff is super friendly and always willing to tolerate my East Coast beer bias(«Yeah, Odell IPA is good, but is it Jai Alai good?») while steering me to a terrific local beer that’s just as tasty. A store with people nice enough to not roll their eyes at the mere suggestion that East Coast beer is worthy of being mentioned next to Colorado beer? You get that here. Imagine how nice they’ll be to you if you’re smart enough to keep your unpopular opinions to yourself. But people who won’t shank me for having a stupid opinion isn’t the only great thing about this store. Every month, all of the standard six pack offerings from a particular brewery go on sale for about 2 bucks off the regular price for the entire month. $ 6.49 for a sixer of Deschutes? It’s not even old, it’s just that cheap because they say so? Yes, please. The store still has some summer seasonals and it’s autumn? Mark em down to $ 2.99 a sixer/99 cents a bomber or even lower.(Can you imagine some of the bigger beer shops in Denver actually marking down old stock? What a concept, right?) The only downside to this store is the weird parking lot which really seems to be part of the street and the store’s location on Monaco near Leetsdale, which can be an extraordinarily congested intersection at certain times of day.(And this is coming from someone who lives on Colorado Boulevard!) But that’s a silly downside. I shouldn’t even bring it up. Some people like to keep this place a secret because it’s so good. That’s crap. Certain diamond-in-the-rough stores like this one deserve to be better-known. If it means I might miss out on a limited release whale, so be it. These folks deserve your business. But as a precaution: if you’re new to Grapevine, just go ahead and stay out of the cooler. You probably wouldn’t like what’s in there. You just let me work on cleaning that part of the store out. Public service, you know?

Theses guys are very helpful. I needed to buy some alcohol for my wedding. It was my first time walking into a liquor store and I don’t drink so I had no idea what I was supposed to get. I told them my situation and the guy helped me pick out 4 different kind of liquors, estimated how much of each kind I would need and totally made it stress free for me. I don’t know how competitive their prices were but I had a great experience there.

I office next door to this liquor store. Some of the local Russians & Tajiks(David’s Kebab House), told me that this store has Georgian wine(which is hard to find) hence my trip. After work I went to Kings to grab some nice ribeyes and then headed here for a nice bottle of vino. Grapevine has a great selection of vino, beer and everything else. I came to the counter with my steaks and my vino and the man behind the counter(the owner?) said do you have a grill, you can use ours. He wasn’t kidding either. Excellent service, selection and prices. However, b/c of the great service I will be frequenting Grapevine.

Stuck in what looks to be like the rear end of a Chinese restaurant with the most ambiguous parking lot ever created(Where does it start and the road end? No one knows.) lies one heck of a deal on beer. I have a few friends who have been coming here for some time and have spoke highly of Grapevine, so when I heard they were selling River North bombers for $ 5.99 as their beer of the month(best idea ever), I had to come check it out. Not only was that claim true(a $ 2 savings per bottle), they had multiple 6-packs on sale for ridiculous prices. Alaskan beers for $ 5.99?! A number of other favorites for $ 5.99-$ 6.99?! Score. Not the largest selection in the world, but nothing to sneeze at and a surprisingly diverse one with some great prices. Grapevine, you and I are going to be good friends.

Nothing bad to say, so five stars! My partner in crime Angie has made friends with the staff here, and they are really helpful. They have a huge selection of wines and beers; I was most interested in their numerous local beers, available in everything from cans to kegs. When I was about to return to LA, I wanted to buy one or two local beers to take home with me in my checked luggage. The guy at the register(sorry, can’t recall his name) was nice enough to not only grab some free newspapers and such for packing material, he also let me know that one of the beers I had chosen was available in LA, so I rally didn’t need to schlep it home in my already weighty luggage. Thanks for looking out!
