My home flooded in June of 2015 due to all the rain. All of the general contractors/water mitigation places that I called were booked weeks or even months out. I found Elite Restoration and worked with Mike. They were the most afforable estimate and they also had the quicker start date. I think they are newer business because there are a few gaps that made the restoration work a little less than ideal. My job(replacing insulation, drywall, texturing and painting) was a smaller effort but spanned 4 days to allow for proper drying, etc. The contractor was late 4 of the 4 days but he was coming from other sites and jobs. Once I had his cell phone number, he was able to give me updates. Also, when he arrived the first day, he was missing materials which caused a bigger delay. However, once everything was purchased and he was onsite, my contractor, Alfonso, did really good work. You can’t tell that there was any water damage or that the 2 walls were redone. I think once Elite Restoration firms up their processes, improves their customer service, works on detail to their contractors, etc. they can be a really good business. Their quality of work is already very good. If they work on the other inconveniences/hassles, and maintain lower prices, they will beat most of their competition in this market. The invoice was also higher than estimate but one email to Joey, their accounting person, resolved it quickly(within a day). You can also pay the invoice online with a credit card which was very convenient(some places still want personal checks). They are a very pleasant business to work with.
