Elevate by Design is a landscape design firm located in Denver, Colorado. Owned and operated by designers Paul Wrona and Chris Turner, Elevate by Design specializes in high-​level design and project management. We have a unique approach that differs from the traditional landscape model. Our philosophy is to make the landscape process simple, creative, collaborative and fun! Our strategy is to produce creative and custom design that captures our client’s wants and desires. We will then carefully select a contractor that is best suited to install the project based on size, complexity and compatibility with our client. Finally, we will provide the necessary supervision and guidance to the contractor in order to carry out the creative vision. This approach will allow the final product to be a true collaboration of client, designer and contractor, resulting in a truly personalized and exceptional landscape.

History

Established in 2012.

Though the firm is new, the owners and their work are not. Our combined experience of over 20 years in the industry will allow us to address any questions or issues with or during a project with confidence and guidance. We have a continual positive relationship with builders, architects and subcontractors throughout the metro area that have been solidified over the years time and time again. Elevate by Design is a firm that represents the experience of a design. We want the design/​construction process to be an energetic journey that results in a unique and timeless product that friends and family can enjoy for years.

Meet the Business Owner

Chris T.

Business Owner

Chris is a Colorado native who graduated from Colorado State University with a Bachelor of Science degree specializing in Landscape Design and Contracting. While at Colorado State, Chris also studied Business Management and Landscape Architecture. Over the last 7 years, Chris has specialized in the high-​end market creating outdoor rooms, planting pallets and outdoor spaces that have been recognized by the industry numerous times. He has been published in local magazines for his perspective on current trends and ideologies in landscape design. Chris was acknowledged with two Excellence in Landscape Awards in 2011 and won a National Environmental Improvement Award for a project he designed in 2009-​one which was selected as a finalist for Landscape of the Year in Colorado Homes and Lifestyles Magazine.
