Cash only. You have to pay for chips but a side of salsa with your meal is free. Cant have plain cilantro apparently it has to be mixed with onions. Food quality is inconsistent. Al pastor tacos are very bland. The tortilla had the most flavor. Huge chunks of fat in the meat too.

If I am not mistaken El Taco Azteca is located at the Mar Lee Manor Shopping Center. Had lunch with J on Satuday January 26th 2013. Time: 12:35hrs ish. Made the order at the counter while reading the Menu which was listed on the «right wing» of the wall in El Taco Azteca.
I opt for these following items :
* 1 Asada Taco ($ 1.70)
* 1 Lengua Taco ($ 1.50)
* 1 Cantaloupe Juice Drink ($ 1.50)
Total cost with tax, my order was $ 5.08. It took about several minutes for our order to be ready. They will call your order name, so make sure you know what you order that day.
2.5 stars at best for this El Taco Azteca coz I am NOT SO WOW with what they offer especially with my order of Asada and Lengua. *Sad Face* Could it be a bad day? Hmmmm…
When I recieved my order, all I could see that red spicy sauce/​salsa and raw onions on top of the meats of my Taco orders. I so wish El Taco Azteca could have like a mini self-​service condiment counter, BUT they DO NOT have it. *More Sad Face*
If I am not mistaken, J’s order with drinks cost was $ 7. But she is not impressed with what she had. Oh well…
When we were there, many Hispanic patrons had their meals especially with the BIG bowl of menudo. Maybe, I might return to try the menudo BUT NOT in a jiffy. Left El Taco Azteca at 13:08hrs ish.

WOW, can’t believe this place is not on anyone’s radar screen. KILLER GORDITAS. Don’t even think of Taco Bell, this is the real deal. Just ask for half the white sauce on them. Amazing. Get the asada or the lengua. I will stop in this place anytime I near it around lunch or dinner. Great family run business, super nice, cheap, authentic, and great salsa. As a foodie guy, I was totally impressed and amazed this the first review? It is in a non descript strip mall that most urbanites will miss and not stop in to try. Get in here.
