Eco Roof and Solar

Eco Roof and Solar put a new roof on our house this fall after a hail storm. Mark was exceptional to work with through the whole process. He checked in regularly and followed up on outstanding items. He made the process painless. The roofers did excellent work and cleaned up really well. They were timely and completed the job as outlined. I highly recommend Eco and Mark.

We called Eco Roof and Solar and SHAWN STANDIFER came out to our home to take a look at our roof after our insurance company determined the hail in June had ruined the shingles. From the first meeting to the end of the project Shawn went over and above expectations to make sure that we understood the process. He dealt with the insurance company and clearly understood what was needed in the replacement of a roof on a 110 year old home. Shawn was so patient when I couldn’t decide what color roof I wanted and brought many samples and gave addresses of roofs in those colors for me to see.
The crew that actually did the roof were fast, careful, and cleaned up after themselves. They even sent a man out the day after completion to make sure all was well. Shawn was here several times each day the install was happening, up on the roof taking pictures to show us so we’d understand what was being done.
I would recommend Eco Roof and Solar and especially Shawn Standifer to anyone that wants a first class experience with a company that truly takes pride in its work. Thank you to all involved in the project!

My roof had been done in by hailstorms and this company came by, inspected the damage, and then assisted with the communications with my insurance company and the repair crew, and it was all smooth and painless. The roof looks great and I am happy with the work. A couple of my neighbors also had the company do their repairs as well immediately afterward. Just ask for Mark Brown —- Highly recommended!

Eco Roof and Solar came by canvassing our neighborhood after a recent hailstorm. They told me that they could probably get a lot done, paid for by my insurance. Well, turns out my insurance is screwing me, telling me they’ll only pay for 25% of the damages. ER&S then said, well, that’s okay; they could do my whole roof for under what my deductible would have been, anyway. They’d take a look and get me a quote.
I have emailed 3 times in the last couple months — the first time, over a month ago, they said I’d have the quote within a couple days. The 2^nd two times I emailed, no response. If you can’t do the work for the price after all, that’s fine, but it’s only polite to let me know that rather than ignoring me, so that I can go with a different bid.

These guys do an amazing job! Everyone was very professional and helpful. I would recommend these guys to anyone in need of a new roof.

I had Josh from Eco give me an estimate for my roof on my 80,000 sq ft steel building. Parts of the building are over 30 years old and there have been several additions over the years. We have issues with leaks in the old buildings and in between the sections where the walls meet. The issues we were facing on our roof where a major undertaking. Josh was able to the work with us and came up with the best solution for our situation. I couldn’t be happier with the service and savings. Highly recommended!

I was referred to ECO Roof and Solar by a friend, and I have recommended them to many friends since having my roof repaired by them. I have become accustomed to dealing with roofing/​painting/​repair salesmen, and of course their tactics are generally to agree to whatever the client wants in order to get a contract signed. I felt that ECO approached my project with my needs at the top of their priority list — they asked tons of questions, listened to my requests and were more than willing to accommodate my specific needs. Scott Barbich was my Project Manager, and he did a wonderful job of keeping me informed on the status of my repair, being available (even texting with me) when I had questions, and maintaining the integrity of the project by being honest with me regarding deadlines, pricing, the insurance process, and the overall project. I will definitely use them in the future and highly recommend this company for their overall personal and respectful sales approach.

Great experience from beginning to end. Sales staff was friendly and professional. Everything that was promised was delivered! I would highly recommend this company from top to bottom to all friends and family.

I had a fantastic experience with Eco Roof and Solar! After a big storm up North I was referred to them, I am pleased to say my experience from start to finish was top notch. I had no idea how everything works in terms of insurance, paper work etc, but Scott Barbitch my project manager did an excellent job of guiding me through everything.
My roof was completed in a timely manner by a very professional crew that really took pride in taking care of my house. I was able to leave every day and feel secure that I was in good hands with Eco Roof and Solar. It is not fun when you need a new roof but my advice is to use a company that is as professional and obsessed with quality as Eco Roof. I haven’t gotten solar yet but you can be sure they will be doing it.

I would not recommend Eco Roof and Solar. In my opinion, their sales staff, roof inspector, and sales manger used unethical ways to solicit our business. We are extremely unhappy with the company. Just like the prior Unilocal reviewer said, the roof inspector seamed only interested in pressuring us to sign the contract and did not want to give us the written estimate specifying the materials to be used for the repair job. After refusing to give us the estimate he started yelling at us and making false accusations. This resulted in the sales rep making derogatory comments to our insurance company without our authorization. I would not use their business ever.

This company has a lot of strange stuff going on.
1. Sales rep miscategorized as a «project manager». There is nothing «construction project manager» about a roofing sales rep. There should be a law against using this title for anything but contruction project management which means you are supervising a building project with 30 employees.
2. Sales rep only interested in getting the potential client to sign on the dotted line and create a contract within a ½ hour of meeting them. Not interested in educating the client on the roof materials and optionsl
3. Asked for a bid, they refused and told me I am not an ideal client if I won’t sign up front.
4. Apparently they are more interested in wheeling and dealing direct with an insurance company and not provided «legal bids» required by the insurance company for payment.
Be careful dealing with their reps… they are only taught to go get signed contracts from the consumer and won’t let the consumer be in charge of their insurance settlement.
