Complete Appliance Repair

We called Complete Appliance Repair on a Tuesday regarding a washing machine that wouldn’t spin. Asked if they could come by Thursday and no problem there. The tech showed up on time and was courteous.
The only problem I had was the final bill of $ 250. By doing a little research I found that the broken part (actuator) is around $ 60 and the tech was here for about 30 mins. Seems a little steep to me, but hey, the machine works. Next time I’ll do a little more troubleshooting before calling.

I saw all the negative reviews from all the appliance repair guys in town. I called Complete Appliance cuz they had the best rating. I can add to the good rating. They were awesome during the whole process. Absolutely no complaints at all. I would call them again (hopefully don’t need to).

Our built-​in Sub Zero wine fridge stopped working and after calling a few appliance repair companies, we were told they don’t work on Sub Zero fridges :(Then we called Complete Appliance. Chris came out within a week and got it taken care of for us.
Communications were great: Chris called when he was on his way and was on time. Prices seem pretty reasonable.

My washing machine broke. After calling around to find the first available repair company, I landed on a next-​day appointment with Complete Appliance Repair. They failed, but they get a bonus star because the customer service was awesome. The scheduler and the field technician were really nice to work with. But since they couldn’t get the job done I spent an extra week shuffling dirty baby clothes to friend’s and family’s houses while I waited for a part I ended up installing myself in just a few minutes.
The tech showed up on time and was able to diagnose the problem in less than five minutes. He walked me through the issue, showing me the damaged part (s) in question. It was clear that the edges had worn off a rotor. He said that we would be better off buying a new machine than fixing it, but that for $ 20 he’d use some high grade epoxy — but that he’d never done that before and had no idea if it would work. Before I agreed I specifically asked if we could just try replacing the rotor (as opposed to both the rotor and the spider/​drum), since he was able to take that off in less than 5 minutes, but he said it wouldn’t work because both parts were too worn.
So I accepted my fate, paid $ 80 for the visit + epoxy and crossed my fingers while I waited a day for it to set. No joy. It didn’t even kind-​of-​work. I took off the back panel and aside from a small mess, the condition was totally unchanged.
Since the tech was able to show me the problem, a quick internet search led me to a parts dealer with lots of videos and reviews. Based on those reviews I ordered the part, replaced it in just a few minutes and we’ve been back in action for about a month now without issue. Maybe the other part will fail next, but some high resolution images of new versions of that part indicate that this one is in pretty good shape.

I called Complete Appliance Repair to diagnose my failing washer. Their service representative arrived within the 2-​hour time frame they’ve promised. He was neat, personable, friendly and very professional. Although I did not receive good news about my washer, he made sure to describe the problem in a respectful manner as well as explain the problem with demonstration in order for me to understand everything.
The phone dispatcher was helpful and friendly, setting up an earlier appointment. I appreciate the technician’s suggestion for a washer and a good local appliance outlet that could provide me the washer for a good price. Overall, it was a great experience thanks to their attention and excellent customer service.

Professional service, however, to repair after diagnosis of 1.5 year old higher end appliances the cost was quite high. When I questioned the charges I was told it was a software program for establishing costs to repair. However, they were here one hour for the return visit to install parts and essentially my labor cost was $ 300 for one hour after retail cost of parts. They know what they are doing, but I believe most likely knew that the software program was to their benefit and as such used it to determine repair time. I thought the estimate was high, but did not have an idea on labor hours needed to do, plus already paid an initial visit to diagnosis the problem. I think they know what they are doing, however, when your appliance repair person shows up in a mercedes van … well, guess I should have overlooked all the favorable reviews here.

Just called them about my oven that suddenly stopped working, and 10 mins later their master technician called (Jayson) to go over potential problems and gave me ballpark estimates. Incredible customer service especially at the end of the day. Will definitely use again!!! Thank you

Very pleased with the service provided, Our fancy (read: expensive) Kitchenaid 8-​burner, side by side oven system cratered when I used the oven’s self-​cleaning feature. An appointment was quickly set up when we called, and Otto was diligent in working through the diagnostics. This is a complicated and HEAVY appliance. It took three visits (7 hours total), the first two of which my husband was available to help slide it out, but Otto was on his own for the last one. Despite having to slide this mammoth appliance in and out by himself, he took care to make sure the furniture sliders stayed under the front legs so the wood floors wouldn’t get scratched. Three parts were ultimately fried on one of the ovens due to the self-​cleaning cycle, and of course they were only accessible via the back of the unit.
Note to homeowners: Save yourself the repair bill by NOT using the self-​cleaning cycle on the Kitchenaid brands. A little internet research will confirm this design flaw that has existed for many years.

Great customer service! I needed a hard to find glass cooktop part that was back ordered from the manufacturer. I needed an estimate as a condition for a real estate sale. They understood exactly what needed to be done, and got me everything I needed in a timely manner. Would highly recommend.

I love a straight shooter. I called Complete Appliance Repair to have my microwave serviced. Jason called me back the same day to get more information and he was very honest and said that it would probably be cheaper for me to buy a new microwave. I know he didn’t get a sale out of me today but I would definitely recommend them to friends and family and, they would be the first ones I call next time I need help with an appliance. Honesty and good customer service goes a LONG way. Thank you!

Nailed it.
Answered the phone in two rings. Came to our house the next morning, fixed the problem on the spot, and showed us some things we could do for maintenance to prevent it from happening again. I can’t think of a way they could have done better. Highly recommend!

I had a totally satisfying experience today getting my dishwasher repaired with one day, on time, right part on hand, fair charge and professional service from Ted. I will recommend this company to others.

Chris did an amazing job. I was quoted a repair cost of $ 500 for a pump replacement on my washing machine. He came out and found I had a sock in my line and saved me $ 400! Thanks!!!

Great experience with Complete Appliance. They diagnosed and fixed my fridge after another company said they couldn’t. Really liked that the tech called when he was on his way. Would recommend to anyone looking to get an appliance fixed at an affordable price.

Terrible customer service!
After my basement flooded due to a botched repair on my washing machine, I waited months to attempt to resolve the issue with the wife of the owner. Who said she could and would handle the repairs without going through insurance.
After 2 months of «working» with her, she decided I was no longer a priority and neither was the damage caused by the botched job their technician did. As, she told me I needed to be more patient, and «I could figure it out myself, if I couldn’t be more patient».
This problem eventually was handled through my home owner’s insurance, as a great deal of repair needed to be done to my basement. Repair, that was not going to be completed otherwise.
I ended up having to have my washing machine repaired again along with an extensive remodel job, all from hiring this company to begin with.
I would recommend them to no one.

I spoke with Jayson on the phone about a couple issues with different appliances. The main issue was a microwave that wasn’t heating (magnetron failed) and he recommended replacing it instead of trying to repair due to the cost. Several of the issues turned out to be because I wasn’t familiar with the operation. Finally, the dryer hadn’t been drying clothes all the way. I explained that I recently cleaned a ton of lint out of the vent, but hadn’t heard my girlfriend complaining since, so he recommended waiting to see how things went before spending any money for them to diagnose.
The point is, sometimes an honest professional opinion to save your money is the best advise. If and when I need any further appliance repairs, these guys will be my first call for sure! Thanks for the honesty!

The technician, Chris, called when he was on his way and arrived on the early end of the appointment window I was given to have my dishwasher fixed (it wasn’t draining). He not only tolerated my looking over his shoulder, but also answered all of my questions. He looked around and quickly figured out and solved the problem. He was professional, courteous, and knowledgable. I will be calling them the next time I have any appliance issues in my house!

The water intake valve broke on my dishwasher. Not a difficult repair but I didn’t have the time or inclination to do it myself, so I called Complete Appliance. They couldn’t come out for three days, but I thought three days wasn’t long to wait since the dishwasher would be fixed then. I told them on the phone exactly what was wrong and the make and model of my dishwasher.
The technician showed up half an hour past the scheduled time window, told me the water intake valve was broken (no kidding) and that he didn’t have the part and couldn’t get it for at least four days — which would mean I’d have to take more time off work or away from family for them to come back. I went that afternoon and got the part and fixed it myself, no way was I waiting over a week total for a simple repair.
Now they’re trying to bill me for a service call for which they showed up late and did nothing. Really poor customer service.

Our Kenmore fridge, apparently manufactured by LG, went on the fritz the day before we left for a two week trip to Scotland. The nightmare of finding somewhere to store the food aside, it was an inauspicious beginning to our vacation. When we returned my wife called Sears with the error code, and was sold a $ 300 part over the phone.
I got on
to look for an appliance repair joint, and four or five folks turned me down, saying something about freon and fines and so forth, and two more quoted me prices over $ 500 to fix it. I got on Unilocal,which should have been my first stop, and Complete Appliance Repair scheduled a visit. They repaired my fridge for less than $ 200 and told us to return the part Sears had sold us.
Honest work and prices to fit your schedule. They show up when they say they will and do the job right. I’ll be calling them again.
