Classy Closets

One of the first tenets of service — respond! After the great Unilocal reviews I opted to contact this business first for a quote. Two requests via their website = ZERO response. Although I asked for email response only I have heard nothing back on either request via email or phone (I provided 2 cell numbers)
Would have loved to provide support to a well rated, local business but it is hard to do when said company cannot be bothered to respond.

Thank you Unilocalers for steering me this way. I also looked at a few other of the major closet companies and classy had the best price. I have used California in the past and was very happy with them but Classy beat their price by a few thousand dollars. The final product turned out beautiful and looked like real wood in the dark brown color. Jody was so patient and knowledgable and didn’t hesitate to replace a piece of trim that I had an issue with. I highly recommendJody and this company, as working with them was a pleasure and I just love my new closet!

I decided feeling more organized would be a bonus to my daily life. I collected numerous coupons from local companies and researched them on Unilocal.Two companies stood out with the highest ratings and I had bids by both. Jose Romo from Classy Closets was the Designer that came to my home. He was friendly, thorough in what I wanted, offered suggestions and said he would email me full drawings with measurements with his quote. He even took the time to go over another drawing to help me read what I would be receiving.
I received very detailed drawings, communicated a couple tweaks with Jose and was very happy with the design.
Company B would not share drawings of the design as they were proprietary. I understand this philosophy, but it left me with no visual of how my closets would look. I chose the same product with both companies. And same design. Company B’s quote came in more than double of Classy Closets.
Needless to say I scheduled with Jose. My installers were Roger and Joseph. They arrived 15 mins early. They were professional and quick and in less than 2 hours my closets looked fantastic. They left them wiped down and vacuumed, ready for me to organize.
The shelves and rods are adjustable, and everything comes with a lifetime warranty. Though my job was not a big one, I received great customer service and will highly recommend Classy Closets to anyone looking to organize.

We just built our dream home, and the first to-​do item on my list was to get my master closet professionally done. I researched four businesses — California Closets, Closets by Design, Closet Factory, and Classy Closets — before making a final decision. Don’t be scared off by the lack of a showroom — that means no overhead cost of which the savings gets passed on to you (yes, they do have actual samples that they bring to you during the design process so you know first-​hand what you are getting).
I worked with Jody who was extremely patient with me as I had three design ideas I wanted priced out. She was able to accentuate my ideas better than I could have done myself. I really wanted every inch of the closet space to be efficient and functional. We met at the house a few times as it was being built to tweak out the details of the final product. Again, Jody exhibited a ton of patience with me as this was something I had been dreaming about forever and wanted it to be perfect. The closet is an L-​shape which I thought would be a challenge design-​wise, but Jody proved up to the task. Once the final design was agreed upon, a 50% deposit was done.
Fast forward a few weeks later, and the closet was installed. It took two half-​days to complete. The installers (Joel and Jose) were extremely conscientious and placed a tarp walkway in the house, vacuumed the carpet, etc. I cannot express how pleased I am with the final product.
Honestly, despite how much I love my closet now, the most impressive part of this process was how smooth everything went — everyone was on time all the time and never made «promises» (especially regarding timelines) that were not met. No «bad surprises». Plus, they didn’t need any reminders either. This really reduced a lot of stress throughout the process for me as I was on a specific timeline. The bonus was that everyone was incredibly nice, too.
The final price (as I know you’re wondering) — $ 7983.00 (just a tip — the more drawers and glass cabinets you want, the higher the price). See attached pics for reference.
I would not hesitate to use this company again. The closet was worth every penny. Plus, their closets have a lifetime warranty (included in the price).

We got estimates from both Classy Closets and California Closets. The Classy Closets bid was $ 1,500 less than California Closets. After a very personalized consultation, Classy Closets’ designer, Kris, gave us a hand-​drawn design, and then tweaked it a bit based on our suggestions. The installation was quick and tidy, and the finished product is very attractive and high-​quality. We waited five years to have this done, and I would just say — If you’re considering a custom closet system, don’t wait — Call Classy Closets! You’ll be so happy with your new space!

We have now had Classy Closets do closets in two older homes that we’ve owned and I highly recommend them, especially if you have an old home with closets that don’t offer much beyond one hanging bar. We have been able to maximize our storage space and improve functionality so, so much. Matt just helped us design three closets in our most recent home and came up with some great design ideas that met our needs. Their installer was very professional and left things clean. The materials are very sturdy and don’t feel cheap like some from the Container Store we’ve had. Would definitely recommend using them.

Found Classy Closets through one of the neighborhood magazines which featured a $ 299 coupon. I worked with Kris who was friendly, vastly knowledgable, and quick. The price was right on, the materials are great, and the design stellar. The installer arrived ahead of schedule, expertly installed the closet in less than an hour, and was meticulous with my space (protective cloth for the floor, vacuumed everything, just terrific).
Can’t wait to use them again. Loved Kris!

Classy closets is actually located on Moline street. No reason to go there as they come to your house with all samples and options. We received estimates and designs from Closets by Design, California Closets, and Classy Closets. In comparing Apples to Apples, Classy closets blew away the competition. We worked with Matt. Classy Closets had the best overall design and the lowest price. The installers were professional, clean and did an amazing job. Any questions or design changes and Matt was quick to return our calls. We could not be happier with the process
