Chocolate Crisis Center® is delicious fun for the chocolate lover. CCC products are made in the U.S. with gourmet-​quality caramels, truffles, nuts and fruits, lavishly covered with rich Belgian dark and milk chocolate.

These delicious confections are then topped with cocoas, spices and fruit essences for a wide range of delectable taste surprises — all with a humorous twist.

Chocolate Crisis Center’s online cocoa pharmacy is open ²⁴⁄₇ and ships throughout the U.S. Chocolate Addicts in Denver can also stop by a retail location in the RiNo Arts District and enjoy chocolate tasting events, part of First Friday Art Walks.

History

Established in 2006.

Chocolate Crisis Center was created by marketing professionals, Lisa Heppner and JC Bourque. Here is the CCC story:

The psychological condition known as the Chocolate Crisis was first identified and described by social scientist, pop psychologist and philosopher, Dr. Ernst Angst of the Ernst Angst Institute for Angst.

Dr. Angst noticed that many of his patients employed chocolate as a way of coping with intense nonspecific cravings, unfocused mental meanderings, bizarre interactions with coworkers, and the stress of psychotherapy sessions.

After an extensive but scientifically ambiguous study, Dr. Angst discovered that a significant number of people have experienced «Chocolate Crisis,» at a rate that shows no signs of slowing down. Dr. Angst decided to take action — and the Chocolate Crisis Center was formed for the purpose of «Providing the public with a supply of premium-​quality chocolate products to help prevent a pandemic of unsatisfied cravings.»
