Jerry’s Nut House

After reading about Jerry’s online, I placed an order of nuts for a friend who lives across the country. They arrived in a timely manner and my friend was really pleased. Next, I placed an order for myself and everything went smoothly. The folks from Jerry’s even checked in with me to ask how it went. I will be happy to place another order in the near future. Thank you, Jerry’s!

This place has the best selection of specialty nuts, chocolates, and candies I have ever seen. There is so much to choose from and the prices aren’t bad when considering the quality of the product. The sugar-​free section could have been bigger, but I didn’t even really mind because there were so many other great items to choose from. The carmelized mixed nuts and the dark chocolate nuts are to die for! This is a definite do-​over for a special treat.

After reading Doug Y’s and Viki P’s reviews I was sold on having to venture out and see this place. I’m addicted to a place in PA called the Head Nut and I was hoping for the same warm fuzzy feelings I get when I go there.
Well, not the same — very similar. The aroma grabs you the minute you open the door, sweets and nutty decadence grabs you immediately and you’re hooked — you can’t leave now.
It has a circular shape when you enter with the majority of the yumminess along the outside perfectly packaged in beautiful zip lock type bags small enough for under $ 10 purchasing, some are as low as $ 4.50 or so. I was hoping for more, bulk buying, like telling them I want 5 lbs. instead of having to buy 5 packages. I like the bulk buying a bit better — because who can’t eat 2 lbs. of pistachios? I’m a sucker for them, watching a movie and eating pistachios, not popcorn. Speaking of popcorn (what a perfect lead in) they sell a great variety of popcorn that I can’t wait to try. Every variety of nut either whole or chopped, how do you like it, they have it. Then onto the nut and fruit mixes, I love these for some afternoon munching. My favorite is the chocolate and yogurt covered morsels of ecstasy. If you need sweet candy, chocolate, chocolate covered cranberries or cherries this is the place for you to shop.
**I stand corrected (and I love when this happens) the owner commented on my review and said they do offer bulk on items, 5 lbs. and even 25 – 30 lb. cases. This could be scary, the next time you meet me I might have 30 lbs. of pistachios hidden away in my apartment. Thanks for news Jerry’s Nut House, you have made a loyal customer out of me.**
I love the layout and variety. I will definitely be back for my fix of pistachios and occasional sweet tooth attack.

I’ve been here before… was it two years ago or two decades ago… the address is the same but it’s all different… I open the door and step into a different reality… («this is not my house, this is not my car, this is not my beautiful wife… «playing in the background) I feel as though I’ve walked through a time portal… what happened to all the wood folding tables and old bare yellowing drywall… I remember now, I had come here before for raw peanuts in a shell to make boiled peanuts. They were the only place in town that had them… I walk through the space ship looking interior half expecting to see living specimen samples gathered from throughout the cosmos in the little window/​portals but instead see the familiar packages of… (gasp) maybe humans and other species have been transformed into edible non-​soylent green delicious foodstuffs!!! Aghhhhhhh I run shrieking through the rows of seemingly delicious nuts and candies and out the door slowing my strides only long enough to throw a $ 5 on the counter for my package of unsweetened coconut ribbons (can’t find them anywhere else in this galaxy) and back into the safety of my own separate reality. phew!

A great place for all your nut needs! I’ve been going to Jerry’s Nut House for about 20 years and there is always something for everyone. Almonds, cashews, candies, dried fruit, chocolates, popcorn, other random sweets, gift trays and baskets — and so many other things to choose from. If you have no idea what to get someone for a gift, or have to get your co-​workers something, this is a great place to try. I actually did some Christmas shopping here. The workers are very friendly and helpful and I can’t help but love the squirrel and nut clock that ticks away in the background.

Jerry’s, you give me a sugar rush. I love to peruse your rotunda of nuts, candies, popcorn, dried fruit, trail mix, and chocolate. Oh, the chocolate! Chocolate covered anything you want. And festive gifts and treats for every holiday throughout the year.
And, of course, Jerry’s, you wouldn’t be you without the nuts. So many, many nuts. All shapes, sizes, and kinds of nuts. Nuts dipped in chocolate, nuts slathered with caramel, nuts covered in yogurt, nuts mixed with chewy fruit, sliced nuts, slivered nuts, salted nuts, raw nuts.
I know I should quit you, Jerry’s, but I just can’t. You’re a local favorite and I’m a hopeless chocoholic. No doubt about it, Jerry’s, you are one sweet treat!

I’ve been going back since I was a kid. Great prices on most items… High quality on everything. I highly recommend the cheese popcorn

I used to really like Jerry’s products when they sold them at King Soopers. They don’t sell them there anymore, so I stopped at their store when I was in the area. After the way they treated me, I won’t be back. I’ll get my popcorn somewhere else.

Jerry’s has some good candies and mixes but one time i found something that should of not been in my product! Hair, hair, hair! I asked for a tour of the place and was given one. After touring the warehouse saw mouse sticky traps around the whole facility and noticed that some of the workers were not wearing hair nets… hmm, that come’s to conclusion on how i got hair in my treat! Also while touring around I had the chance to smell the good smell of caramel popcorn being made.yum. But when went to tour that area, noticed that the person making it wasn’t wearing hair net either and using hands to mix some of the popcorn that was cooled off… What in the world? And I’m eating that? No Thanks anymore! Jerry’s is a good place to shop but it’s also a BAD place to go to and enjoy your treats when you really don’t know what kind of extra treats you be getting in your bag. So becareful and enjoy what you purchased. Keep an eye out on what you buy. This is coming like Unilocal has posted under there icon is: «REAL PEOPLE. REAL REVIEWS». And that’s what I’m giving the people. Cause I’m real on my concerns to the community! So a BIG NO for me to Jerry’s! Careful!

I love this place. Jerry’s is especially handy if you are in the area for health care or visiting a friend in the hospital — great recuperation gifts or thank-you’s for the nursing staff.
I’ve done a lot of holiday shopping at Jerry’s. Buy enough and you get a discount: Five percent off for purchases of $ 25 to $ 50, 10 percent off for purchases of $ 50.01 or more. With the already low prices, this is a steal.

Just plain nutty! Jerry’s nuts are sweet. No really, this is a warehouse type place open to the public so go visit for some decent priced nuts, candy (think gummy bears and chocolate covered nuts), caramel corn and snack mixes (like the Oriental, haha).
Do me a favor and try their Jalapeño Kettle Cooked Peanuts. Out of this world and less than $ 4 for a huge bag.

I go to Jerry’s Nut House to get nuts for healthy cooking. However, I come out of Jerry’s with some not so healthy treats as well, such as tangerine sour balls and lemon heads. Oh yes, and caramel corn. Jerry’s pretty much has the same offerings as Mountain Man but with better prices and a store front location. (Right now they are under construction as part of their building caved in during last year’s major snow storm but still open for business.) Not quite 5 star quality but very good.
