Worst car rental experience I’ve had. The shuttle from the airport took 45 minutes to pick us up and then the rental process took another 45 minutes. There were extra charges for every little thing – my reservation was for unlimited mileage and they tried to charge for over 250. We were in such a hurry because it was a 24 hour trip for a funeral and we had to drive to Pueblo and back in that time. We almost left in the middle of the check in process because it was so ridiculous until they agreed on the unlimited mileage – but were literally at their mercy because the rental place is in the middle of a dirt lot miles from the airport. Now two months later we’ve received a $ 45 bill for tolls that I can’t even be sure are legitimate.
You can’t trust this company, it is sketchy and you really don’t end up saving time or money in the long run. Very disappointing.

Vehicle was great, Dodge Grand Caravan. Checkin went smooth, very courteous. The office location was unconventional but that did not get in the way of this being a very good value. My only complaint is the wait for the shuttle seemed long, but the driver was great.

We scheduled a 15 passenger van for 1 week rental approximately 3 weeks in advance… the day before we left i received a phone call from them stating they didn’t have our rental. They offered 2 mini vans in place of one large van… we did accept it…
When we arrived at airport there was no transportation to there location… We had to get on a hotel bus and get dropped off (10 of us with luggage).
Once at AVR Rental, the manager was gone, the girl working scheduled to get off at 8:00 pm we arrived at 8:15 pm, it took 1.5 hours for her to check us out… The Manager never had any paper work done for this… she had to set it up as a new rental agreement. They Charged us for 2 vans, 2 deposits and the manager wouldn’t call her back… Poor Girl didn’t get out of there until 9:35 i think with her family waiting to take her home…
I callled Corporate 4 times… They Never Called Us Back…
I would NEVER use them.

Based on previous reviews, I was skeptical. We rented a large van for a week. All in all, it was a phenomenal deal! Under 500 for a large van for a week! You do have to have some patience though. When we arrived, there was only one lady working and the line went out the door. She was checking in and renting out. There were definitely upset people there. The couple in front of us had reserved a day earlier and they only had a dirty car just returned for them. They looked at it and left for another company. Our van had been cleaned inside but outside was not washed and filthy (think denver winter, solid dirt, couldn’t see out side and back windows). The van performed fine, was slightly older with 55 000 miles, but not bad. The check in went better as they had 3 people working and no issues. So over all not a bad experience, but saw it could have been easily.

This place is not a legitimate car rental company. They are located in some strip mall in the middle of nowhere and its a fiasco getting to and from the airport on their make shift shuttle. Next time I’ll pay more and rent from a real company.
