Most of the items that you can find at this«Whole-Sale» are Hispanic stuffs, and produce. Prices are quite similar from those you can find @ Walmart, Target, KS, etc etc. You can find«refrigerated» items of Hispanic Cheese, Sausages and Milk too. That afternoon, the deal was some small apples for $ 1. Its already in a bundle and the apples are the«tiny» ones. I can find the Bananas that I have been eyeing for«Pisang Mas», Golden Bananas aka its scientific name is Musa acuminata Colla(AA Group) cv. ‘Lady’s Finger’ at a cheaper price. Might return when needed. Apparently that afternoon, it was stated at the«front counter» or the Cashier Check out, ITSCASHONLY. Recent visit was on Tuesday September 17th2013. @206/2013

I pass this place on a regular basis. The big sign out front advertising fresh produce had been tempting me for quite some time. A few days ago I finally stopped in to check it out. I was definitely impressed! The produce offered at Alpine Summit is high quality and CHEAP! I got a bag of about 10 jalapenos for $ 1, 8 limes for $ 1, avocados were $ 1 each and fresh raspberries were well below standard grocery prices. This place is a hidden gem for any home chef on a budget. I walked out with a box of good stuff for around $ 20. The staff here was also very friendly. The lady who helped me gave me some tips on some of the Mexican cheeses they had in stock. The only drawback is this place is cash only. They do not take credit cards or debit cards. Other than that, this place is rad! I will definitely be back in the future.

I haven’t had the chance to actually go out and visit, but I do business with these guys every day. They are my favorite folks to work with — couldn’t be a nicer bunch.

Alpine Summit Sales does not do their main business with the general public. Alpine Summit Sales is a Fresh Fruits & Fresh Vegetables Wholesaler. But…they DO have a great fruit stand out front of their warehouse in the summer and inside during the winter where you can pick up watermelon’s for $ 1.00!!! Or jalepenos, 3 for $ 1.00, or onions, or tomatoes. Depending on the season and the day, you will find something different. I recommend if you are driving around the area(just off of I70 and Havana exit 280) to swing by for a great deal.
