Aldo Shoes

Soooooo incredibly disappointed in the customer service here today. May 24 at 12:30pm. One guy and one gal working, the store was empty and I walk in. Both completely ignore me even as I continue to browse the entire store for at least five minutes. They are standing there talking to each other but still NOTHING! I came in prepared to stock up on shoes today and ended up walking out and going over to Steve Madden instead. The gal at SM was amazing and earned commission off a $ 1000 sale. Shame on you ALDO for not training your employees right. I’ll post a picture of my receipt from Steve Madden next to show you what you blew today and from now on I’ll be passing on Aldo!!!

Ive purchased a bag that REEKS of fish. I found a really great bag at this location and while shopping around an employee offered to grab me a new bag in its packaging in back. I said sure and left the store with my purchases. Upon my arrival home I found the bag smells absolutely horrible. I’ve let it air out for weeks to no avail, and because it was a sale item I cannot return it. It just seemed strange that I had this bag the store was trying to get rid of and was given one that mysteriously happens to smell like a fish lived in it. Very frustrating, I will not be returning to this location.

Well, I don’t have my boots yet, so I suppose I should withhold the five stars… but I walked in at 8:45pm! These peeps just want to go the !?&@ home like we all do at the end of our shift. Chelsea was awesome (as was everyone else, just don’t get names, sorry). So this review is just based on customer service… Top notch. super fun and trendy people that you want working for you. I like this store. The associates are friendly. Aldo has some high quality shoes with genuine leather and they also have cheaper shoes made of synthetic leather. They have sales pretty regularly. Their shoes are pretty comfortable. I bought a pair of leather boots there last winter and even though I wear them at least 2 – 3 times a week, they’re holding strong.
My husband bought a pair of men’s leather dress shoes there two years ago and they just now needed to be replaced. We went to this store last night to buy him a new pair of dress shoes. He’s so picky when it comes to shoes, but Aldo always has something that looks really nice. He ended up with a pair of black leather dress shoes that were $ 100. Not bad for real leather shoes.
My only complaint is that they don’t seem to have a good selection of brown, leather boots this season, so I’ve had to resort to looking for boots at other locations, which are often pricier and I’d rather give my business to Aldo. Maybe next season…

I previously ordered the Bresler flat on Aldo’s online site. Based upon reviews, I went up a size. What the review didn’t take into account, is that round toe flats are true-​to-​size, while pointy toe flats you need to order up a shoe size. So after my shoe arrived it was a size too big. I first called the Lone Tree Mall Aldo Shoe store to see if they had this style in a size 8. This was my first time ordering an Aldo shoe, so I was not familiar with their shoe boxes. The Lone Tree salesgirl I spoke to did not explain things clearly and with adequate detail, so there was an element of lost in translation. To top things of she was rude, unwillingly to check on supplies in the backroom and rushed me off the phone. I then called the Aldo Shoe store in the Cherry Creek Mall. The saleswoman at the Aldo Cherry Creek Store took the time to explain the Aldo shoebox to me. She also asked what style, color and sized I ordered. She looked it up in the computer and asked what size I now needed. Then, she checked the backroom for and told me that they had it. She held it for me, while I drove to Cherry Creek from Parker. When I got there the same saleswoman that I spoke to on the phone assisted me in the store. She retrieved my shoe, rang me up and also printed a store receipt for me to accompany the online receipt I had as well. She was not only very helpful and polite she was also very knowledgeable and quick. I will definitely use this Aldo again, instead of the Lone Tree Mall one.
