TL, DR — Use this store for the free ATM and nothing else (hence the extra star). They can’t make iced tea, and when confronted said they haven’t made it for four days?
Convenience store? More like inconvenience store. We went to this store when it was 100 degrees, just wanting a 64 oz unsweetened iced tea, because who drinks sweet tea when it’s that hot out? We aren’t in the south. Anyhow, we go in, and they are all out of unsweetened tea. Well that is a bummer, but there is another 7 – 11 on Havana and Dartmouth (and if you’re in the neighborhood that one is about 100x better for future reference) so we just go to the cashier to let him know they are out of tea. What he should have done is said, «Oh, I’m sorry, it’s been busy, we’ll make some more.» or something that would show that he understood the problem, and was capable of taking steps to resolve it. What we did get is some kind of jag off response of how they can’t make any more and have been out for four days. So likely some kind of flippant response that probably comes down from his disconnected franchisee boss. We even brought up other solutions that may help him avoid having to disappoint people, like putting up an «out of iced tea» sign, or maybe even going to king soopers and buying tea bags (it was a brewing machine). But still got a bunch of blow off. We called the corporate line, yes extreme for iced tea I realize, but the response was so lame, I was hoping to get satisfaction from someone, anyone, and got a huge blowoff, «Oh we’ll open up a ticket» we can’t find that location in our database response, it really made me wonder what 7 – 11 actually IS capable of. Oh well, just skip this one, really.
