The guys here at 5280 Motorsports are amazing. I never felt like I was being taken advantage of or misled. I would definitely recommend them to anyone!

These guys are the best! They are always honest and really hear to help. Every time I’m in a jam I give them a call and am in that day! I took my car in for its ABS system and they gave me a great deal on one they already had in the shop. Another time they replaced my break pads for me and were nothing but gentleman. Today I called flustered about my shocks. They were able to take me in right away and made me feel 100 times better. I always know my car is in good hands with these guys. I don’t let anyone else touch my Audi A6 1999.

These guys are great. I seldom can recommend a car mechanic but i do these guys. They are honest and fast. We have two audis and have been to multiple auto repair places. They know what they are doing, do it right the first time and for less. They are amazing.

Huge thumbs and thanks for his work on my Audi Allroad. Eric was incredible communicator — proactive and informative — on top of being really nice. 5280 diagnosed my multitude of leaks & tears for free and then did the work at a great value (I called around to check).

Eric and the team at 5280 Motorsports have kept my now 15-​year-​old VW Golf running like new for the past few years. Eric has tracked down mysterious gas smells, prevented major breakdowns and done routine repairs for me. Repairs are reasonably priced, they always get the work done in the time quoted and Eric is ruthlessly honest about what work needs to be done, and what doesn’t. I wouldn’t dream of taking my car anywhere else, and when I replace it my next German car will also call 5280 Motorsports its mechanics! Just today I was on the other side of town and the Goof (my VW Golf) was turning over but not firing. It was below freezing outside. Before calling AAA, I called Eric. He said «Pull up the rear passenger seat, and pound on the floor underneath it, while you’re cranking the car.» I laughed, thinking he was messing with me. He said «I’m serious, that’s where the fuel pump is.» So I did exactly that. It worked!!! Car is purring like a kitten. If you have a German car, call Eric. Best mechanic in Denver for all German makes, period.

Words cannot express the gratitude I have for Eric and his crew at 5280 Motorsports. 2 years ago I purchased a VW Beetle right at that sweet spot in a car’s life when everything falls apart. Check engine and oil lights coming on, car alarm going off at inappropriate times, water pump failing, oil leaks and backups… you name it, my car suffered it. Yet through it all, Eric was there to take care of me and my little yellow bug. He always got me in and out in amazing time and went above and beyond in his service. Everyone at 5280 was always friendly (including Strummer, the shop dog who would come say hello) and I consistently left feeling secure, and extremely happy with the kind, honest and top notch service I received. I recently decided to say farewell to my Beetle and took it to Eric for one last appointment. As always, he did fantastic work and was upfront with me about the condition of the car. My new car is an Asian make and model, and I would by lying if I said that a part of me didn’t question the purchase solely based on the fact that I wouldn’t be bringing it into 5280 Motorsports for all of it’s maintenance. I grew to enjoy going to the mechanic, and thanks to Eric and the team at 5280, taking my car in for emergency fixes became a pleasure and not a source of complete stress. Walking into 5280 Motorsports feels like you’re a part of a family, and I will definitely be going back just to say hello to people that feel like old friends. Thank you for all that you do!!!

Eric is honest, straightforward and easy to work with. I wouldn’t consider taking my A3 to anyone else. He tells me what is going on and is quick to assess and fix my issues. Nothing like having a trusted neighborhood mechanic to do business with. Makes me never want to leave the Audi family.

I’ve come across a few VW/​Audi specialists, but none that actually worked for VW and lived in Germany. Eric is the man, super friendly, and takes care you. As long as I’m in the area, I will take my A6 here.

Eric has never let me down. As a single female taking my car to a mechanic it can be frustrating.
He will tell you what needs to be done without breaking your bank. Very honest shop. My car has been solid since I’ve been going there. Stress free.

Eric, Sterling and the rest of the crew do amazing work. I’ve been there three or four times, and each time I am really impressed. The staff is incredibly knowledgable, they love their craft, and provide excellent customer service. If all businesses were run the way 5280 Motorsports is, the world would be a better place.

I went in today to have my gas flapped fixed and found out the the shop does not repair Mercedes. However, they spent 25 minutes opening my gas flap and did NOT charge me for the service. These Guys are awesome and exceptionally friendly! I highly recommend their service!

If you or someone you know owns an Audi, VW or Porsche, stop what you are doing and bring your vehicle to 5280. I have an A4, that is a bit temperamental, I found a home for my repairs at 5280, 2 years ago. (Really should have posted sooner) I have always received great service and down to earth honesty from Eric, consummate professional. It’s always a relief to have Eric, Sterling and the gang, work on my A4. Don’t waste your time and money somewhere else!

We took our 2009 jetta wagon and 2003 gti to 5280. They are very knowledgeable, friendly and timely. Whenever we needed work on our cars we knew right where to go. It feels like a small town, family shop and we truly felt they cared and exceeded our expectations. Sadly, we are no longer living in Colorado and it’s hard to find a shop to compare to 5280! Thanks so much for getting us back on the road!

These folks take good care of my complicated and expensive-​to-​fix Audi A8! Thankfully it (knock on wood) rarely goes wrong — but if it does, or if it just needs some maintenance, I feel better bringing it to these true specialists rather than the crazy expensive main dealers. Plus, they are nice folks to boot! Now, if they could just open up on the east side of town…

With all the good reviews I had high hopes for this place.
Unfortunately, they give a good talk but they are just a RIP OFF!
Add additional work without consent and original problem still a problem when car is returned! Will not be returning to this place! BEWARE

Unbelievable customer service!!! Took my 2007 Audi A6 in for an oil change and they rotated my tires as they took the time to see it was the time to do it. Also had my brake pads replaced and paid $ 500 less than 303 Motorsports quoted me!!! On a scale of 1 – 10, these guys rate a 10!

I’ve taken my R32 here twice now and am absolutely sure that I will be bringing it here from now on.
Reasonable prices and a welcoming and knowledgeable staff are just some of the benefits of 5280.
Personally I enjoy the timeliness and the genuine concern for my vehicle after I leave.
Thanks for setting this kind of standard, 5280. We need more businesses like you. ;)

Incredible service. I really can’t say enough about this place. Both the owner and the person who worked on my car were extremely nice and helpful.
I had a little trouble with the bumper of my GTI. I called them up because they are located close to where I live and also because they had great reviews on Unilocal.They completely lived up to the 5 star rating. I brought in my car right after the mishap with my bumper. They had it fixed within an hour. They called when it was completed and I was on my way. I am extremely happy with my decision to go here. I will definitely be coming back here for anything I need in the future.

We have had Eric, Sterling, and the gang working on four of our VW’s for the past half-​dozen years at least. We love their honesty and flexibility. They are all highly-​trained professionals, so even when the labor bill gets quite high, I always feel good about the transaction and service, and feel comfortable knowing
a) I supported a local family business
b) I couldn’t have gotten more expert help with my car ANYWHERE
c) I paid for the work I received, and nothing more. Eric’s business model is obviously one of long-​term word of mouth referrals and growth. I’ve never left there feeling anything less than satisfied, even one of our aging cars needed over a thousand dollars of work.

I don’t write reviews very often, but I can’t not write a review for 5280… Eric, Sterling, and the rest of the crew, were awesome. I drive a 2001 VW Jetta; and while it’s been pretty great, it still has 185K miles… I know it was a fluke because they’re so busy, but they were able to squeeze me for a diagnosis. He proceeded to show instead of tell me exactly what the problem was. Normally, I would’ve gotten a second opinion, but while waiting on the diagnosis I met someone in the neighborhood who couldn’t speak more highly of him and his place; so, I decided to go for it. After sending someone out for the part, it was fixed within an hour. I appreciate the honesty and straightforward service I received and highly recommend Eric and 5280 Motorsports.
