History

Established in 2007.

G.L. Jeffries started bringing power to rural homes in the 1940s working with the Rural Electrification Association. This was a government backed program to bring electricity to rural homes.

G.L.‘s son, George Lee Jeffries, Jr., followed in his footsteps early on and learned the trade working with his father. He was a master at wiring complex circuits and had a talent for proper and straight wiring installations. All four sons of G.L. Jr. have worked in the Electrical field.

G.L. Jeffries Jr.‘s son, David Jeffries, is a Master Electrician with a background in electronics repair schooled in the US Army. He is the founder of today’s Jeffries Electric.

In December 2012, Jeffries Electric changed ownership to John Prater, a Master Electrician and is well respected by his employees. We provide similar excellent service and do our best to work with previous Jeffries customers in the transition as well as assist any new customers that are looking for local, professional service!

John Prater is a licensed Master Electrician and is well respected by his employees. He became the owner of Jeffries Electric in December 2012 and does everything he can to satisfy customers, both residential and commercial.
