Had the worst experience with other tow companies and lets just say my car was a victum of improper towing by others. Called AAA and to my suprise they sent out Alonzo and gave the the best experience with a tow company i have ever had. He arived FAST!!! and was able to get my Mercedez and myself off a dangerous part of Highway 68 safely and with an amazing attitude. Best of all he knows what he is doing … THIS GUY IS A MASTER AT HIS CRAFT!!! THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU ALONZO AND MONTEREY GARAGE YOU HAVE SAVED THE DAY,

I called these guy to have my car towed to my house usually the tow companys take forever 1.5 max but that wasn’t the case this time they sent out Johnny and he showed up in less than 20 min had my car on the flat bed and on our way thanks guys for being super fast

Called AAA when my daughters battery died at her school. We tried jumping it ourselves and couldn’t get it started. Monterey Garage arrived within 40 minutes of the call, checked the battery, starter and alternator and found the battery was very dead. Javier had batteries in his car and sold us a new battery & changed it out. He was careful to scrub the corrosion off the battery terminals. The cost ($ 120) was twice what I would have paid at Auto Zone, but the convenience was worth it. Javier was friendly, helpful and efficient.

Shawn reached out to me a week later. Was very apologetic and only turned in one of the two AAA service calls. Really happy he recognized the issue and corrected accordingly. This is a stand up business that made a mistake.

AAA sent over Driver Alonzo Valenzade. He was very friendly and gave me great advice on what might be wrong with my car. The service was fast and arrived before AAA’s estimated time. Perfect service!

Locked keys in my car and was provided excellent assistance by Alonzo would have been stuck without him. Inexpensive and friendly service with a smile. ⁵⁄₅

When annoyed and frustrated at yourself for locking your keys in your car, I couldn’t have asked for better assistance, service and friendliness than meeting driver Alonzo Valenzo. He efficantly helped me in no time while being SO nice and proffessional. I just moved to area and will now be a customer at this garage because of him and recommending this garage to my friends. Yup. He was that fantastic.

Saturday night, after a long day of abusing my car, it got fed up and decided to stop working. As a dark cloud hovered over me, I was stranded in Monterey. Called AAA, the associate who answered the phone was rude, unhelpful, all the monstrous synonyms to describe terrible customer service. I was worried that the tow would be poorly executed and I’ll be stuck on the side of this busy highway forever, 80 miles away from home, but when Alonzo arrived, he immediately lifted all spirits… I saw the black cloud leave, dark skies open and bright stars come out. I think the birds even woke up to dance around his truck.
Alonzo was able to get my RSX on his flat bed within minutes, drove it to a safe place and made sure I had a car to wake up to in the morning.

When your car breaks down or you get in a wreck, the one saving grace you can have in that terrible moment is an amazing experience with a tow truck driver. On two different occasions with two different cars within the last 6 months, Alonzo showed up to the rescue and went the extra mile for me both times. He is calm, reassuring, and very personable, making the worst situations light and feel alright.
Most recently, Alonzo picked me and my partner up off the side of the road on a rainy Friday night after our Nissan Titan broke down. After expertly and quickly loading our huge truck onto his tow truck, he helped me guess what might be wrong with it. He helped us forget about the terrible mess we were in with great conversation and laughs on the way to my mechanic in Salinas. Being a young woman who has had awkward encounters with tow truck guys, I can tell you that Alonzo is the best of his game and is the best guy for the job that I can imagine, making anyone feel comfortable and safe. I would highly recommend him and his company!

We want to commend Monterey Garage Towing and especially Jevan, for outstanding service on 5 January 2015. AAA sent Jevan to our location for roadside assistance. He arrived in record time and completed the job perfectly. For future reference, we highly recommend Monterey Garage Towing. They have the experience plus social skills to handle any problem.

After a beautiful day in the Santa Cruz mountains with friends, i came back to my parked car, which had a dead battery. Unfortunately, i had used up my AAA service allotment and had to pay for a jump (nope, I didn’t have any jumper cables in the car). Alonzo arrived within 20 minutes on a Sunday night, and was super-​personable. Great service with a friendly attitude and the right price!

We called AAA and was sent a driver who contracts through Monterey garage and towing. Our tires were slashed in the parking lot of the Monterey bowling alley. We were the last call of the night for Alonzo the driver. He was very professional and took good care of my 2007 Porsche Cayman. He was very thorough and friendly as well. I feel truly blessed that he came to save us! If you ever are in need of a tow I hope you have Alonzo come pick you up. Thank U thank U thank U!

My Dad’s battery was dead. He called them and they said they would be out between 11:30 and 12:30. Rich was here by noon. Jumped the battery and stuck around to make sure the car would turn over on its own.

I locked my keys inside my car yesterday (first time for everything!) along with my phone, wallet, etc. Was able to use the phone at my friendly local UPS Store to call AAA, and then went outside expecting to wait about 30 minutes. Within 3 minutes the yellow van rolled up to save me! The nice driver happened to be in area when the call came in (lucky me) and he had my car door opened right away.

Very rude office staff, refused to help us when there was a minor problem with AAA giving them our incorrect account number. DON’T rely on them unless you like being treated poorly.

The service has been amazing time and time again. Everyone is super friendly and helpful. I have AAA, and today needed a whole new battery, for the battery i got from Monterey Garage i would have spent $ 50 more at an auto store. What a great deal. another satisfied customer!

Had to call AAA for a tow and they sent out Monterey Garage. They called and let me know right away that their guy was on the way. Got there faster than what they had told me. Roland showed up and was so nice and helpful. You could tell he likes his job and I had total confidence that he would take care of my car. Good Job MGT&S!

Wow another awesome and super quick visit from Monterey Garage and this time since my car battery died while I was shopping at Costco. The gentleman who helped me was super professional, kind and worked very efficiently. He found me in the middle of the parking lot with ease and jumped my car and was gone under 5 minutes. I looked at the receipt and realized that Morgan had the most beautiful penmanship that I had ever seen! Random but very memorable!
Oh and like my last encounter with MGT, I received their assistance by calling AAA, so thank you AAA!
