Great, classic Italian food. Big menu with basically everything that you could possibly want. Didn’t give it 5 stars because the service definitely could be better: in my most previous experience the service was fine but in past visits it could have definitely been better.

Fathers Day celebration at Biaggi’s Deerfield We went there fairly early, around 2:00PM and we were greeted by Annette, the manager. Food was extraordinarily good! I had Capellini di Mare(Angel hair pasta, large shrimp, scallops and calamari sauteed in a spicy tomato-vegetable sauce and topped with mussels and little neck clams) which was delicious! Usually I order pasta with clams if I go to an Italian Restaurant, but this one was unbelievable!!! My wife had Potato-Parmesan Crusted Tilapia(tender fillet of tilapia lightly pan-sauteed with a potato-parmesan crust and lemon-basil butter sauce, served with a medley of sauteed vegetables). The kids had Farfalle Alfredo, and Ziti Al Forno. The big surprise came at the end, when Chefs Daniel and Luis brought us two plates with combined desserts! And since I love Italian Prosecco, we had two bottles of Mionetto. This was the best Fathers Day ever! Thank you Team Biaggi! We will be back soon!

I give this three stars because the food was great, but the service was terrible. We went there for lunch a couple months ago and the young gentleman that was serving us didn’t really pay attention to us. He was on his phone most of the time. My friend actually had to the go to the Bar to get a refill on his water. All in all, food is great though.

We were there for lunch on Monday. A server was training another server. I ordered the salmon sandwich and was told it came with some salad. I asked for a dry bun, vegetables instead of fries. Well the sandwich came with a greasy buttered bun and no vegetables where at veggies? Oh they are coming. 25 mm later they showed. Lunch was over. The restaurant was empty for 12:30 and the waitress was snotty. Did not offer a apology $ 11:99 for a half of lunch no bun no vegetables. Go anywhere but here

If you enjoy waiting 20 min for service then getting it by going over to the hostess desk, zero waitress check-ins during dinner, no drink or bread service and self serve bussing your table, then this is the place for you!

Food is good. Service is terrible. I wanted to leave no tip, but the wife made me… We went for their lunch special — even though you have free refills on your soup and salad, the waitress was so slow and never offered refills to us. I don’t see the advantage over Panera…

They have the best pasta sauces. Very pleased that they have a dedicated gluten-free menu. Enjoyed the spinach spaghetti with meatballs(GF) and one of their GF flatbreads. Always very filling, took half of my meal home! Will be back naturally!

This restaurant is a true gem. Lots of competition nearby but the service, food and reasonable prices make this a destination you have to experience.. Alona, the manager is so attentive. She always makes sure you are happy. Kristen, one of the servers remembers my favorites every time I come in. Marko at the bar is an amazing mixologist. The Moscow mules are second to none. The bone in ribeye for 31.00 is big beautiful and so, so good. Biaggi’s in Deerfield is not what you expect from a chain restaurant.

Really easy to get to and park. Beautiful and relaxing inside. Wait staff was on top of things and the food was deeee– lish! I ordered the tomato soup with sherry and the three cheese prime rib sandwich with grilled onions. Perfect portion for lunch and wonderful flavor. Highly recommend.

Had the Shrimp. It was a great presentation, the plating was colorful and the shrimp was dee-lish! The service was efficient and courteous. When we asked for more time between appetizer and entrée there was no problem. I appreciated not being given the«bums rush».

Convenient neighborhood eatery. We all agreed the décor is nice, atmosphere is pleasant, sitting in front of their fireplace in a cold day makes the experience one notch better. My mussels was generous in portion. But if you take out half of dozen of those were still clammed up, then it was not so. The rest that I could gain access to were fresh. Just wish the sauce was not as salty! The servers were all great-just like every other time we came visit. Nice place to bring your out of town visitors!

Enjoyed the free bread. Nice ambience and spacious interior. Heard good things about the beet salad and baked zitti from people I ate with. Enjoyed my marinara spaghetti(I have simple tastes) — it was nothing to write home about but decent as italian fare goes. It’s nice that they have a «half and half» option of combining half a salad, half a pizza, a bowl of soup, or half a sandwich. You can also do any pasta«half and half» as half salad and a smaller portion of pasta. They do have generous portions, was unable to eat little more than half of my pasta and so for those who don’t eat as much as others or who prefer not to have leftovers, would highly recommend the«half and half» option.

Food is hit or miss, but I had an issue with our waitresses this time around. We had two waitresses — one was being trained but did most of the talking, and the other more experienced one was around to answer questions. Convo 1: Us — «I see you have different prices for small and full portions of the pastas. How large are the small portions?» Them — «3 versus 6.» Us — «3 versus 6 what?» Them — «Pieces.» Ok, there are 2 ravioli dishes, 1 spaghetti & meatball dish, lasagna, regular pasta, and some others in this section… so we’re assuming full entrees contain 6 raviolis, 6 meatballs, etc… right? What about the lasagna — will there be 6 pieces? Who knows. So we all ordered the full versions. But when our food came out, my friend’s cheese ravioli dish had like 8 pieces, my other friend’s butternut squash dish had like 20 raviolis, and I had 3 small meatballs. What could she have been talking about? Convo 2: Us — «The description of the bomboloni says donuts — plural. How many does it come with?» Them — «It’s just one doughnut.» Us — «Oh, I guess we can’t share it then among us 3 girls. Let’s order two desserts.» When the bomboloni came out, it was 1GIANT doughnut cut into like 9 pieces that were totally shareable. We couldn’t even finish it. The 2nd dessert we ordered wasn’t necessary, but it was too late because it came out with the giant-bomboloni-that-serves-3-to-4-people. The waitresses totally led us astray in ordering our food, ugh. Food I’ve had: — free bread — very good — shrimp on top of arugula salad — very good — bacon wrapped dates — wish they were stuffed because this was just a hot & sticky mess — spaghetti & meatballs — meatballs were too dense & didn’t have much of a meat taste, which leds me to think they used too much breadcrumbs; wish there were herbs or fennel seeds to add more flavor — bomboloni doughnut — why did this have a thick, hard crust? — lemon tower cake — just ok On the bright side, prices are pretty reasonable for Italian. The environment is similar to Maggiano’s, but prices are cheaper. For example, we ordered apps/entrees/desserts(no drinks), and it was $ 30/pp after tip/tax. This paragraph alone grants this review its 3rd star.

This restaurant is a gem in the heart of Deerfield. They serve exquisite and delicious italian dishes. Beet Salad, capellini di mare and risotto with grilled veggies are really exceptional. They have friendly and courteous staff. Pedro is our server and bartender at the same time. He can be a sommelier too because he knows a lot about wine! Overall experience is superb. We will definitely go back.

My sister was in town visiting and we wanted to try something different… We did not have a reservation, but were seated promptly… our server Jenna was so amazing! She was patient, attentive and very knowledgeable! Jenna offered great food advice and even offered to buy us dessert if we did not like her suggestion… Well, we did!!! It was delicious! I was so impressed with this place, but the service blew me away!!! Priced just right, the portions are fairly large… the Sangria was very good as well… Overall, a great experience… definitely worth the 60 minute drive from Chicago!!!

Loveeee Biaggi’s!!! For chain restaurants, i personally think its waaaay better than Olive Garden and a step up from Maggianos. Every time im here, our group always orders calamari, bacon wrapped dates, capellini di mare and fettuccini w/lobster I personally dont like dates. So i was kinda skeptical at first. But the crispy bacon and the sweet savory sauce made the dates taste great! I would eat it all if my body allows me to do so: P If you are a fan of calamari, i would order it from here as well. It is light and crispy and doesnt have that bad, not fresh, fishy smell to it. Now to the amazing pastassss!!! I almost always get Fettuccini w/lobster. I think the black fettuccini they use just makes the dish more delicious. The lobster cream sauce blends in well with the mushrooms and the black pasta. It is very rich and i always have left overs to take home. If you are a huge seafood fan, then the Capellini Di Mare is a great choice for you. They do not skimp on seafood. And it is pretty fresh too. My BF was unadventurous and stuck with the basic Chicken Parmesan. I can’t say it’s good enough that ill ever want to get it again but it wasnt bad either. With all the other great choices they offer, this one is definitely not on my list at all. Overall, their pasta’s are not drenched in oil like some other restaurant i know of(aka, olive garden) their bread is always fresh and warm. I’ve been there many many times and the quality has always been the same. I would definitely recommend this place if you are craving for some pasta! *During some months, they do $ 10 pastas every Tuesday! Great deal for a huge bowl of pasta!
