I’ve been to a few locations around the area. Great place ! Clean, friendly, quick, easy, amazing care !

NEVER EVER visiting this place again! I’d rather drive an extra few miles to premier care! Wouldn’t let me see doctor until I paid my whole deductible. I asked if they can please bill me. I had just back back in town from work trip with sore throat, coughing and ear pain. And they turned me away. Asshole crooks, patient care my ass!

This clinic is great! Any time I’m sick I go here instead of my gp. This place also has a suboxone program, which I am enrolled in, which takes insurance. Dr. Shallat and Dr. Lerman are both very caring and knowledgable. And all the staff there are nice. I highly recommend this place.

It’s good if you’re pretty sick and can’t get to your primary care doctor. I’ve been here about 3 times since it opened a few years ago.
I went in for a super-​duper, bad cold. Turns out I had strep and an upper-​respiratory infection. Gave me anti-​biotics and I was good to go.
Last time I was there, I went in for some pretty severe ear pain. Waited about 15 minutes to be called in, then waited another 20 – 25 minutes just to see one of the doctors. She examined my ear, looked at me and said she has no idea what could be causing the pain. She excused herself for a moment to go find out more about what could be causing it, then a nurse came in with ‘discharge’ papers that they give you stating I was diagnosed with, wait for it: Ear Pain.
Is the wait better than an ER? Yeah.
Is it worth the wait? Not really.

Went in for an ear pain. Found out i have swollen drum which is causing serious pain. When i asked for a strong pain med to help elevate the pain. I was told it is not Stat Health policy to give pain medicine. So their job is to leave patients in pain for 24 to 48 hours until the antibiotics kick in. Dr. Via go over that oathe you tooj while becoming a Doctor. Jackie the medical assistant. Find another field. You no nothing about the meds and you have 0 people skills. So rediculous that i will be charged and be in pain. I will never go there again. Stick with your primary doctor they care more about you. Not just your money.

So happy I came here early Sunday morning for a terrible sore throat when my dr.‘s office was closed. The waiting area bright and cheery. Waiting area seats feel like I should be on a beach with a piña colada and a great book. I was called in about 10min and saw Dr. John Shallet. He is very patient and thorough. Within minutes I was walking out, prescription was already called in for me and within 2 days I am feeling so much better! Highly recommend this location!

Worth the wait! Clean, professional office. Went in on a Saturday with a nasty cough and they saw me in about an hour– completely worth the wait for thorough service. Checked all my stats and prescribed exactly what I needed to feel better.

WORST PLACE! The staff are prob worked to hard because the nurses were so Inattentive to my mom who was so sick. She never goes to doctors due to the same horrible experience we had! There was 3 different ppl in the waiting area –2Doctors on staff and we waited close to 2hrs!!! The doctor was a sweetheart — but he wanted to just send my mother home to drink fluids and rest! I told him she needed an antibiotic and guess what –SHE DID! Cuz within 24 hrs she was almost all better! The nurses were rude, no TIMEFRAMES are given, it’s freezing in there, they make u wait and it cost big dollars for ppl with & without insurance — NO THANK U!

Two hours and $ 75.00 of my life I will never get back only to be told that nothing was wrong — it could be a sprain or a damaged ligament. An x-​ray — No need, nothing is broken. Was an MRI recommended — No. Was my wrist wrapped or was I given a brace to ease the pain or so that my wrist wouldn’t twist? No.
My recommendation — an ER Room would be much more diligent and thorough. The only reason I went, was because I heard good things — never again.
As for the follow-​up, I just had to hang up because it was more important for the person who made the call to speak than to actually listen to the patient. Oh well, lesson learned.

Came here after taking a klutzly fall on a boat dock when my regular doctor couldn’t see me for another 36 hours.
Seeing that I had open wounds on my feet, the front desk staff was helpful with filling out the forms and processing my insurance. I was seen in a matter of moments after handing in my info. Every aspect of this place is MODERN and more up to date than some doctors facilities. My vitals were taken quickly and with ease and I was handed the remote control to the TV in my exam room while I waited for the doctor.
The doctor was straight and to the point, asked when I had my last tetinus shot and told me to enter in this tetinus shot, with date into my contacts on my smartphone so I would never forget again (BRILLIANT TIP!!) The techician bandaged me up pretty well… (I looked like I had cotton candy on my feet) was handed my after care instructions and prescription for ointment and then went over to billing and was charged my correct copayment for my insurance.
I was probably in the facility for about 40 minutes and pleased with every aspect of service. (only suggestion would be to forward the script straight to your pharmacy). Totally impressed by this place, since 2 days after my visit, I received a follow-​up call. I don’t even get that from my regular doctor!!! :-)
Will be here again when I need it — Glad Deer Park Avenue has this, it was needed in the area!!!

If I could give this place 0 stars I would, and not for the reasons you think. The place itself is beautiful and clean and the doctors are pretty good for a walk in. I came here numerous times without problem, but today was a different story. I went in there, after waiting 45 mins the woman at the desk calls my name to tell me I had a $ 150 deductible. I told her this had to be incorrect; I’ve been to numerous walk in clinics and my dr, never have I heard of this customary fee. If I were to not have insurance I would be charged at least $ 60 LESS than what she was trying to charge me for having insurance. The logic in that blew my mind, combined with my insurance provider already closed for the day, so I left. Needless to say I went to another clinic and just as I thought NO $ 150 deductible. Who knows whether they were trying to overcharge or pocket money themselves. I find it odd that they needed a $ 150 deductible, but another walk in did not, for the same insurance. I’ve lost faith in their business practices and will travel the extra distance to go to the walk in that accommodated me without incident.

I have been here numerous times for myself and my daughter. I have never waited more than 10 minutes. The staff and the doctors are friendly and professional. I love the fact that they call you 2 days later to see how you’re doing. The hours are very convenient. Highly recommend this facility!!!

I have been to this place 4 times for various reasons — my kids and myself.
I have never had to wait, the facility is clean, the staff is very friendly, their policy and procedures are well laid out.
Overall, I almost prefer coming here rather than my Pediatrician for my kids when they are sick because I never wait, and can just walk in.
Highly recommend at least this location for anyone needing speedy medical care.

The practice is brand new, and clean. The staff is very nice and I literally waited 10 minutes to see someone. When you are sick, this is so amazing to be in and out. They called 3 days later to check on me. I will definitely be going back to Stat Health. I actually have been to the one in Smithtown too. They were fantastic as well. I waited a little longer to see someone there but they were more busy.

Went in because I had the flu and couldn’t get in to see my GP. Waited 10 minutes to be seen! All of the staff I interacted with were kind and caring. Definitely recommend!
