Featuring, Music Together®, the early childhood music program, for our youngest students, Musical Theatre, Piano lessons, Violin lessons and Acting classes for adults and children.

We are process oriented not product driven. Each student is celebrated as the unique individual they are and given opportunities to develop individual artistic talents as well as supporting their overall personal growth and development. Our instructors are professionals in their field and our class size is small, which allows for individual attention and guidance. Our studio offers ample opportunities for students to be involved in the community. Such as, fund raising concerts and «Musical Baskets with Joy» a program to donate musical instruments to area shelters for homeless children.

Your imagination is fostered in our bright, beautiful studio located in the heart of Dedham Square at 597 High street. We are dedicated to inspiring artistic expression, learning and enrichment for all of our students.

Meet the Business Owner

Marianne R.

Business Owner

Marianne Ryan is the founding director of Discover Music and Art in Dedham, which opened in 2003.

Ms. Ryan is a graduate of The American Academy of Dramatic Arts in New York and attended the Performing Arts School in Philadelphia. A performing artist, singer, proud member of the actor’s unions; Screen Actors Guild, Aftra and Actor’s Equity Association since 1990 and humanitarian. Her work has included musical theatre, regional theatre, film/​TV, and voice overs.

As a registered Music Together® teacher, Marianne has taught the program since 2003. In addition, she has composed music and written scripts for her Musical Theatre workshops and has involved her company in charity work, believing in the joy of giving!

Music, dance and theatre have been a part of Marianne’s life as far back as she can remember. She is thrilled to be combining her love of music with her love and respect for children.
