History

Established in 2006.

We restored this historic farmhouse built in 1900 by Judge John Candler. The Candlers lived in North Druid Hills and would visit the dairy farm on weekends. Their Guernsey cows always won blue ribbons at the Southeast State Fair.

Joe and I discovered after the massive renovation that the house was too large for just the two of us and decided to host guests as a bed and breakfast. Our first guest was from Cardiff, Wales. We love meeting people from all over the world.

My husband, Joe, and I enjoy meeting and hosting guests from around the world. We like to share our insights about Decatur and the metro Atlanta area — recommending activities and favorite restaurants. Guests share their own experiences with us. Even helping me plan for our own holiday to Santa Fe and Colorado.
