WOOHOO! I have been waiting for this moment for so long… my dreams have finally come true! This Cali girl, who resides in GA, can now revisit a taste of home! This Jamba Juice location can be found near Emory’s campus, nestled in the corner of a small shopping center. If you are not carefully looking for it, you may miss it. The ambience is just like that of other Jamba Juices I have visited. The staff members are friendly and eager to please. My only gripe, coming from a TRUE Jamba Juice fanatic, is that my Aloha Pineapple did not taste quite right. The texture was just fine but there was something about the taste that was missing. BUT I’m sure that with continued feedback and practice they will get it right in the future and I have to say that I have had this experience before at other well established locations so who knows, could have just been that day. Aside from that small gripe, I am extremely excited that I will be able to continue to bask in the delights of Jamba!!!

I’m usually a huge fan of Jamba but this one somehow doesn’t make the smoothies right. It’s often time too watery and lack flavor especially when they start making the drinks in larges. It doesn’t taste the same as the other Jambas I’ve always had.

Jamba Juice FINALLY comes to Atlanta(aside from getting it at the airport)! This newly opened Jamba Juice is on N. Decatur, right next to Emory’s Clairmont campus in a small line of shops that have traditionally not done so well in terms of popularity/business. The location isn’t the best — it’s in a tiny plaza with tight parking and right at a busy intersection, but doable. I’m hoping Jamba Juice can reverse the curse! The new shop is pretty typical — clean interior, friendly staff, bright colors; they seemed to completely change the layout from the previous Red Mango. The drinks themselves are okay in my opinion. Some are tastier than others(my personal favorite: mango-a-go-go). I’ve been especially into green juices/superfood smoothies lately, so I was a little disappointed with Jamba Juice’s take on it when I tried the apple kale green smoothie — I think there are tastier green drinks at other places. But Jamba Juice is known for their creative flavors, fresh ingredients and secret menu options as well, which are always nice. In general, I do enjoy it on occasion, but the drinks are a bit too pricy and overhyped for me. Definitely sign up for the Jamba Juice rewards program if you feel like you’ll be a consistent customer — or even if you just want to get $ 3 off your first drink. Sign up on their website!
