I’m a huge fan of this place. I’m short, so I have to get things hemmed quite a bit and M & K always does a flawless job. They always hem my designer jeans and pants perfectly and will keep the original hem for you, a huge plus. I’ve had them alter everything from skirts and dresses to coats, and never had a bad experience. I even had them make curtains for me(brought in my own fabric) and they turned out beautiful. The prices can be just slightly expensive sometimes(depending on the garment), but for the work they do it’s 100% worth it.

I’ve taken clothes here probably 20 times and they have always done a great job — everything from simple pant hems to completely re-working several dresses was done exactly how I wanted and fit great. The family that runs the business is really nice are always helpful and friendly. I’d definitely recommend this place!

These ladies are wonderfully nice and appear to be able to do anything. I have been going to them for years on anything from a tux to jeans to a bed skirt.

DONOTTAKENICEDRESSESHERE!!! I have never written a review on anything before, but this was a must. I had my floor-length chiffon bridesmaid’s dress altered here and they did a terrible job. I couldn’t leave without paying the $ 90(!) and went straight to another alterations place(Weini’s in buckhead). Weini told me that they had sewn it so poorly, the entire hems on the side were bunched up, the inside was roughly cut, not hemmed inside. The sides were mismatched. All of this was avoidable, even though M&K’s told me it was the layers on the dress that made it so. Weini is trying to fix with a 3-day turnaround time. M & K’s refused to pay me back or pay for the repair at Weini’s, so I stopped payment on the check. I wish I could include the pictures on this website to show the awful sewing and seaming done.(My profile pic shows the sides). Unfortunately, the dress is likely ruined. Do not go here with your valuable items.

I take my hundred dollar jeans here and they always do a great job. I think its $ 12 for a ny hem on jeans where they keep the original hem. It was good for the jeans I brought in which were frayed at the bottom and had a ‘worn’ look throughout. However, it seems like I would have trouble communicating more intricate things so I have only taken jeans and pants to be hemmed. I would also like to hear if anyone goes in for more intricate work.

Inexpensive. Hem on suit pant was $ 10, and it took a week for the tailor to do it. She seemed really busy. I was reluctant to entrust the tailor with more complicated alterations because I didn’t see many reviews for this place.
