History

Established in 2005.

We started out as a locally owned occupational hand therapy clinic over 9 years ago. Still locally owned, we have now expanded to also include the new location Decatur North on Clairmont Road, specializing in sports physical therapy, but also able to treat all ages and impairments. We are also working closely with local high schools to work on injury prevention and improvements in sports performance.

Meet the Manager

Anna H.

Manager

Anna graduated from Whitman College in Walla Walla, Washington with a liberal arts degree in Studio Art and a minor in Sports Medicine. At which point she traveled across the country to attend the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston, South Carolina to obtain her Doctorate of Physical Therapy. While attending MUSC, Anna also became a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist.

Over the past 5 years Anna has been working in an outpatient orthopedic setting and taken further courses to advance her manual therapy skills. Outside of work she and a coworker created a «screen and clean» program to help assess those who wanted to begin a gym program, work on injury prevention, or generally physically feel better. She has also worked with Paideia faculty, coaches, and students to educate them on how to develop and implement a proper lifting program.

When she is not participating in work related activities, Anna is playing ultimate frisbee or practicing yoga
