Had the French Toast breakfast. Wife had the lobster eggs Benedict which was really good as well. Very elegant dining room and great service. Prices were about average, around $ 10 most plates, $ 19 for the lobster dish. Good service.

Myself along with a group of 4 others arrived for the dinner buffet at 7:30 an hour and a half before closing. The dining room was nearly empty maybe 5 other patrons. We came for the prime rib which we heard was good, and we had a big appetite after a long day in a Confrence. Unfortunately the buffet was barren with only a few options. The prime rib was well prepared and seasoned well however that’s where the positives end. The fried chicken was as dry as sidewalk chalk, the mashed potatoes were hard and flavorless. One member of our group opted for the broasted chicken which was dry on the outside and bloody near the bone. At no time during our meal did they restock the buffet. We had enough and grabbed pie and cake for dessert. The cherry pie was ok however the carrot cake was hard as a rock at the end. Service was not any better than the food, we waited 20 minutes to get beverage refills and the server never checked how the food was, in fact the whole staff was in a circle chatting at the hostess podium. All in all very poor experience, I cannot recommend this to anyone.

The breakfast buffet was very good. So we decided to give the prime and crab a try. What a difference a day makes :(. The night time buffet was gross! Dirty. Poor service. If you want to know what a pig feels like being«slopped» go here. The only reason I gave 2 stars, was because we did have a good experience in the morning. I would recommend someplace else… Oops sorry this review was meant for Silverado. And I can’t seem to delete it.

This review is for the lunch buffet. If I were to compare this to other buffets, this would not get four stars. It’s a pretty limited buffet. But you know what? It has something other than steak and potatoes, which is pretty rare in Deadwood. We were craving some fruits and vegetables. I know that South Dakota is beef country, but there’s only so much of that a guy can take before his mind(and digestive system) starts craving a little fiber. And we found that here. They had fruit salad(which was weak, just melons, but better than nothing). The salad bar was not much, just some greens, tomatoes, onions, and olives, but it was enough, like a shallow oasis in a desert of beef. They have your usual buffet staples. Fried chicken. Mac n cheese. Potatoes. Carving stations of ham and prime rib. Pizza. Sandwich bar stuff(which you can use to enhance your salad, actually). A couple soups. Several Italian options. Everything was okay. The lasagna was pretty great, mostly because it was all cheese. The pizza was surprisingly not bad for buffet pizza, and even offers one slightly«different» pizza(ours was chicken alfredo). They even had some cheesy spinach, which was another vegetable. The dessert was stale and pretty mediocre, but you grab a s’mores bar or two and pour soft serve over it, and you can salvage it. The price was also right, at only about $ 13 per person. So yeah, if this were a Vegas buffet, it’d get maybe two stars. But if you’re in Deadwood and just want SOMETHING to eat aside from steak, this place is a lifesaver.

I had lunch and dinner here. For lunch, they have prime ribs, pizza(, which i love the scallop stew pizza, it was weird, but good), italian food, and others. There are no desert for lunch, only cookies but i didnt try. For dinner, they serve prime ribs which i think really good, crab legs(not really fresh, but i think they are good for a town like this), nude oysters, chicken, italian food, salad bar, ham, bread, 2 kinds of soups, good dessert, i love cheese cake here. They also serve crispy pizza. There are barbecue chicken pizza which is good. I think it has a reasonable price for dinner due to all you can eat crab legs and oyster. The service is ok, because it was so crowded, so i couldnt expect a better service. Definitely come back again. Comparing with other buffets in big cities such as Lasvegas, LA, this one is only 2⁄5 stars, but in a small town like Deadwood, it would deserve 4⁄5 stars.

It’s a buffet. I had the breakfast buffet… the crab & prime rib buffet. Its all decent food if you’re looking to just stuff your face. Service is nothing horrible, but I think this menu is catered to folks with very simple pallets. Which doesn’t include myself. I was upset that the huge fruit bowl was practically empty besides a few slices of honeydew and grapes. I asked when it would be full and they just said«pretty soon» They offer ham, country fried steak, potatoes, salad. dinner was with corn. dinner rolls. prime rib. crab. crawfish… And the dessert was dry. Both the pie, and the chocolate cake. That was even more disappointing.
