Meet the Business Owner

Cynthia B.

Business Owner

Cynthia inherited the love of cooking and baking from her mother. She started cooking for friends and family. When realizing cooking and baking was something Cynthia wanted to pursue she started a home-based business baking for different events including banquets, weddings, family gatherings, church events. Wanting to progress to the next level, Cynthia took classes at Cake Craft, Clark State, and The Art Institute of Cincinnati. She graduated from the Art Institute’s Baking and Pastry program with honors and on the Dean’s list. She was also selected to be the speaker at her graduation. After graduating, Cynthia started experimenting with chocolate. She attended Barry Callebaut’s Chocolate Academy under Chef Richard Cusick in Chicago. Cynthia has taken her newly acquired knowledge and passion for chocolate and started Signature Confections with the help of Dick Fillion and the ladies at Cake Craft.
