History

Established in 2015.

The history of the building of the Pirates Den dates back before the 40’s. No one really knows. It was orginally a Gas Service Station. Then in the 50’s it became a convenience store. In 1960 the Pirates Den (Dayton Diner) came about. Since then it quickly became a great place for Students and Families a staple for the Dayton Community. Over the years the Pirates Den has changed hands but everyone has loved their time there. In 1996 the Pirates Den closed and remained closed until 2013. The owner began to fix the building because he felt like it was time. In 2015 the Pirates Den was reopened by Rose Dodson and Robyn Pekarek. Bringing back the Good Food, Great Atmosphere and Family for the Dayton Community and High School.
