Music Matt has been enriching the lives of children for over 16 years with interactive birthday parties, classes, and concerts!

From music around the world to simple instrument introduction, Music Matt helps to bring young students of all ages into the amazing world of music.

Always aiming to inspire, he believes laughter and fun are the best ways to teach and learn!

History

Established in 1996.

Throughout school Matt was always in concert band, lessons or some performing arts. After his third year of college Matt started a business similar to Kinder Music but with an emphasis on instruments, facilitating a fun introduction to music for preschoolers. Music Matt was born and to go along with the classes, the CD Good Day was created. The CD was a big local hit and Matt was bombarded with requests to perform at birthday parties and other school functions. To offer something even bigger, Matt hired 4 other musicians, The Whole 9 Yards, that have been with him for the last 7 years performing for city functions and corporate family events.

His passion is making sure children are exposed to the wonderful world of music and that they have a blast learning about! Each week you can find him at a number of local preschools introducing a different instrument, one for every letter of the alphabet.

Matt Fisher was born at a very early age… to musicians.

Each weekend, with Matt in tow, his parents would play another wedding or lead music for a church service in a small Northern California town. Matt was given a guitar on his fifth birthday and his dad taught him four chords. Learning two John Denver songs and Johnny B. Goode, hed perform for his family at reunions and pass a hat making those his first paid gigs!
