I came in to get a hole punched in my watch band because it have small wrists.
Everything about this place looks great! The employees are very nice and I was asked what I needed right away. Someone literally said they could do it on the spot because the jeweler wasn’t there at the moment. They also didn’t charge me :) how nice!
The only reason that I took away a star is because I have mixed feelings about the hole that was punched. It was a bit lopsided and not as clean as the other holes in my watch. I should have waited for the jeweler, but then again, my watch is perfectly functional!
I will update this if the hole becomes a problem.
BUT OVERALL NICE, FRIENDLY PEOPLE and be patient and wait for the jeweler :)

Very disappointed. Do not come here for repairs! I dropped off my ring to get fixed and was told ‘no more than $ 45 and probably quite a bit less’. The ring is pure sentimental value and maybe only worth $ 25. I was told I would be called in 2 or 3 days with an exact price. Five days later they call and tell me $ 60. Waste of gas. Waste of time. Long wait, misleading customer service and too expensive! Go elsewhere!

Came here once to fix a watch that I didn’t even purchase from deLuna Jewelers, and they fixed the watch in less than 10 minutes, with no charge.
Came here two years later to get an engraving done, $ 20 for 10 characters is such a deal, and they called me to tell me it’s ready for pick-​up the day after. Love love love this place! Excellent service, can’t beat it.

I was recommended by the glasses store close-​by to drop by here since they have the necessary equipment to repair (solder) glasses with titanium. So I went there, against my personal skepticism, and decided to give it a shot.
The price was 35 dollars for a non-​rush order, which could take up to DAYS. If you’re in a hurry like I was, that’s a 35+15 damage for a «rush» order. I have no idea why it takes up to DAYS for them to do something that is quite simple, provided they had the right equipment to begin with. Also, they will most likely tell you, «it’s not a guarantee fix.» {— should have taken that as a sign and left instead of dropping 50 dollars on the repair, which I didn’t even get to wear because the dang thing broke when I was cleaning the smudges off of the lenses left by the repair person.
So, they made 50 bucks off of me in one hour, that’s a good pay right there. Worse yet, didn’t even bother to clean out the smudges they themselves left on my lenses. Which led to my glades breaking when I tried to clean it. (I vividly recall the sound it made when it broke and told myself, «that was a waste of 50 bucks.») My glasses spent more time at the shop «getting fixed» than me getting to wear it… I didn’t even get to wear it.
They shouldn’t accept these kind of fixes because it’s honestly a rip-​off. (An actual glasses store, different from the one that referred me above, told me that my glasses is a goner. An ACTUAL specialized glasses store told me that when I went to them the following day.) Stick to what you’re «known» for, these side-​jobs aren’t fair to people like myself because it seemed like the store itself knew they’re just making quick bucks.
The bright side, I got a «free» Zip-​lock bag. Just one of those days.

Bought a watch that came with a dead battery. Showed up at this joint and got it fixed in less than ten minutes. Cost me $ 10.85 ($ 10 for the battery and labor, and then tax).
They’re friendly, efficient, and they didn’t charge an unreasonable amount for a battery replacement.

I got my heirloom ring from my grandfather fixed here, a very m meaningful ring, now it looks so much better and it will not fall apart like it was going to. Because of my financial difficulties, they were kindly willing to cut me a deal and Stephanie, one of the owners who helped me personally was very kind and emailed me after picking up my ring, thanking ME for the wine I left them and the happiness I displayed upon grabbing it! I wear it all of the time and it is in great condition, I would recommend them to my closest friends or most threatening boss as they are trustworthy.

I am so incredibly happy with the excellent customer service my fiancé and I received at deLuna. After being devastated when another jeweler told us that my family heirloom ring from the 1800s couldn’t be restored, I was so relieved that Kyoko and Dick were completely comfortable working it into a piece of magic. Kyoko helped us pick out a new diamond that fit both the ring and our budget and then restored the ring with new prongs and a new band. The whole process was relaxed, friendly and not the least bit intimidating. There was a 3 day turnaround!!! and I got to pick up the ring of my dreams. I am so honored to wear this precious piece of family history and am forever grateful to deLuna for making the process painless and fun. We will be back for our bands. Cannot recommend them enough!

I had an engagement ring my fiancé had made for me by someone on etsy, and he had ordered it a size too large. After bringing it to one place to get it resized, they made it too big but refused to go smaller, they said it was «perfect» when it was clearly too big. Brought it somewhere else that took one look at it and said they couldn’t do it because of the diamonds on the side and shooed me out of their store. Starting to get a little defeated I came here as a last attempt. They welcomed me, addressed all of my concerns and assured me they could get it to the right size and would fix it if I still thought it was too big. They said it would take a week which I was ok with. Two days later I get a call it’s done. When I get there, again I’m greeted warmly. I get my ring back, fits perfectly and shining brighter than the day I got it. Needless to say I’ll be coming back here for all my jewelry needs.

This is the place to go! I went to numerous local jewelry places around Woodland and Davis and when I walked in most of them only gave me a so so feeling and a couple gave me a feeling of, yeah I don’t think I’ll be coming here. But not here. As soon as I walked in I knew this was the place! I was searching for a place to get my engagement ring resized. After talking to Stephanie about it and showing her the ring, I was told a price (which was comparable to most other places) and that it was not going to be a problem to get done. So, feeling very comfortable with them, I happily left my ring with them to work their magic. A couple days later Stephanie calls me and tells me that they noticed that some of my diamonds weren’t secured properly onto the ring and that if not fixed eventually over time I would most likely lose my diamonds. At this point I was very thankful that they noticed this and that they told me. You wants to lose their diamonds? Not me. I was informed that they could fix this and do it while they had my ring there. I gladly agreed. After getting off the phone with Stephanie I felt relieved that my ring was going to be fixed and I wouldn’t have to worry about it, but I also felt a little annoyed that these other jewelers never mentioned any of this to me when they also examined my ring. I did have one, well known and well liked place, tell my that because of the way my diamonds were sitting that it would be a little tricky when resizing my ring so that was the reason for the price I was quoted (which was way too high). But they said nothing about the reason why my diamonds were like that is because there wasn’t any support holding them in. So they basically noticed the problem, but didn’t tell me. Or maybe they aren’t as professional as they claim and therefore didn’t or couldn’t see the issue at hand. Either way I am so thankful for everyone at DeLuna Jewelry! The next week I got another call from Stephanie telling me my ring was ready for pick up any time! I explained to her that I was in between paychecks so it might be a week or two before I could get in there. She was very nice and asssured me that it was no problem and that whenever I was ready the ring would be there waiting for me locked away in their safe! This was very comforting and it was nice to hear a place of business not rush you and push you into a time limit just to get their money. I picked up my ring and it looks amazing and fits perfectly. Also, while there picking up my ring the bill came out to be a little less than I was quoted! And on top of that I was told that I can come back any time and get my ring cleaned for FREE, compliments of doing business with them! All in all a great experience, I am very pleased with everything and everyone there! Definitely the place to go!

I just randomly stopped by here a while back wondering if I could get my promise ring polished up a bit. There were many scratches on it from bashing it took from me (sorry ring, you’ve dealt with my clumsiness for 3+ years) but I hated taking it off. I just never felt right with it off so I usually left it on all the time. They actually offered to polish my ring for free. I was pretty surprised and ended up talking with the person in the front desk for a bit. He told me how my ring was exactly made and what would be the best to maintain it. I ended up choosing to replate it. It was under 50 bucks to replate my white gold ring. They finished it really quickly since I wasn’t willing to leave it to pick up the next day. It looked beautiful and it feels so much more sturdy now. I can’t ask for better customer service. I’ll surely be coming back here to care for my jewelry.

I have consistenly received fantastic customer service from deLuna Jewelers. They are honest, fair, courteous, professional and carry beautiful pieces! They are truly a Davis gem. And they are very supportive of local organizations and schools.

Excelent customer service. I brought my late grandmother’s double stranded pearl necklace to be repaired after an awful incident at Trudy’s Bridal in Campbell (see other reviews). One full strand needed to be restrung and knotted. I was happy to speak with wonderful and caring staff who assured me the repairs would be done within a week and great care would be taken with the heirloom piece. Mr. DeLuna also looked at the necklace and recommended that both strings be restrung due to the age of the necklace so that the incident would not occur again (how could I go against his advice??). True to their word, the necklace was ready for pickup within the promised time frame and was cleaned and packaged in a beautiful box to boot! Cost came to about $ 150 for both strings which is pretty steep in my opinion but it was also cheaper than the quotes I had received from jewelers in San Jose and Los Gatos a few months earlier when I still lived in that area.
Brownie points for DeLuna: my now hubby has also purchased two beautiful pieces for me from their shop since we have been together and his grandfather purchased all of his wife’s jewelry from this shop as well. They will definitely have our business for years and generations to come :). Thank you DeLuna!

DeLuna Jewelers is the real deal! Dick, Kyoko and their team are professionals. They make a lot of custom jewelry too so if you want something unique — they are the folks. Also, don’t be fooled, their prices are really competitive. Buying jewelry is always a bit challenging, but I’ve always found the folks here to be honest and direct.

Super fast and courteous service! Changed my watch battery in less than 5 minutes. Only cost $ 10. What a deal!

I had been looking for a jeweler in Davis to do a certain customization to a bracelet my girlfriend had gotten for me. I went to several places who were supposedly the best in Davis for this just to be turned down, they either didn’t know how to do it or were simply not interested. I by chance parked in front of De Luna Jewelers and decided to check it out. Immediately upon entering the store I was warmly welcomed and asked if they could help me. I explained what I was looking for and right away they knew without a doubt they could do something for me. Adrian came out and talked to me and took a look at my bracelet and knew exactly what to do. He proposed something even more magnificent than I had even envisioned. I chose the bracelet I wanted and within the week I got a call that it was done, along with updates throughout the week, and when I picked it up it was more than I could’ve hoped for. Their welding skills are clean and I simply love what they have created for me, and my girlfriend does too. Thank you!

My family has been going here for years. I recently brought my engagement ring in to have the solitaire put into a new band. Adrian helped me out so much. He picked out an amazing band and my ring is absolutely gorgeous. They are very fair in price for the quality of products and very nice. They are not your typical jewelry salesmen!!! This place is awesome!!!

I have had multiple dealing with De Luna over the years. The highlight of my experience was when they re-​shanked and replaced lost diamonds on my grandmother’s wedding set as an anniversary gift for her. The stones matched beautifully and the work was top quality.
More recently however, the experience was horrible. I had a different antique ring repaired. I was quoted 2 weeks and it took 6. When I called after 3 weeks to see if it was done, they hadn’t even started yet and acted like they had completely forgotten. By the time I got it back, the repair was good, but the size was wrong. I had to bring it back in 4 more times after that (a replaced stone fell out after 1 day and they argued with me about it!)
I won’t deal with Dick De Luna. I find him rude and abrasive. His staff is very willing to please and helpful. If you’re buying right off the shelf, I’m sure they’re fine. But I wouldn’t do custom work or repairs with them after my last experience (in 2012).

I’ve been buying gifts at De Luna for at least 20 years. And what I’ve found is that this place is reliable, all the people are very nice, and the prices (mostly) are very fair. I’ve also gotten my watch serviced there a number of times and they always get the job done properly, and on time.

My husband first went to de Luna to purchase my engagement ring. I had given him an idea of what I wanted, but I knew it was something that had to be custom made, so I suggested he go to de Luna since it was an independently owned store where he would get personal service. After the proposal he told me about his experience. The owner had worked with him personally to create a ring that was exactly what I wanted, as beautiful as my husband wanted, and was within his price range. Since then de Luna has been our one and only jewelry store. Over the past few years I have worked with Adrian to custom design a couple pieces of jewelry, and each time it is a wonderful experience. I always stop by to say hello to the staff and have my jewelry looked over and cleaned.
I love coming to de Luna because not only is it a beautiful store with wonderful product, but the staff remember who you are and make you feel welcomed. I recommend de Luna to anyone who is looking for a jeweler that they can trust and can come to for years.

I thought I needed to buy a new silver chain. I walked into De-Luna’s and Adrian gave me another option that worked out great and saved me some money. He helped me adjust the length of the chain and polished the charms for me. Now I am proudly wearing my Nike Tiffany necklace once again. Their great service reminded me other jewelry that I need repaired– I will be going back soon!
