Bobby Dazzler’s Pumpkin Patch and Milo Maze

This will be our yearly pumpkin patch! So many things to do! Petting zoo/​cow train/​mazes! The Pumpkins are very reasonable!
They also give back to the community! The donated pumpkins to Holy Rosary School Fall Festival

I had a blast !!nice space not over crowded. They provided wagons to load pumpkins which I thought was very thoughtful and cleaver. my 2 year old daughter had an amazing time on the cow train and petting zoo. Prices are reasonable $ 3 train ride 5mins long. $ 5 petting zoo (no time limit one free adult per child) pumpkin priced vary.

We were driving home from Tahoe and decided we’d try to find a pumpkin patch on the way home. Plentiful parking– that’s free (nice change from having to pay at Half Moon Bay patches). Expansive space and lots of pumpkins (lots of variety!) still on the vine. We were greeted by a nice lady as we walked in from the lot. She offered good info on where to buy tickets, etc. Face painting, petting zoo, pony rides, cow train ride and a corn maze. Lots to do besides picking out pumpkins. Our little one was the only one in a costume– don’t kids dress up anymore at pumpkin patches? The petting zoo was fun and the cow train ride was really entertaining. The maze was our favorite. $ 5 a person seemed steep but then once we got into the maze we learned it was no joke. Dead ends abounded. We backtracked many a time and ran into the same people also trying to find their way out. It was so much fun! We finally found our way out and it was just in time as it was slightly warm and we were all sweaty from trying to find our way out. Our youngest got a spider ring and some stickers from the nice ladies at the cashier table.
We bought some chilled bottle water ($ 1 each) to cool down. We picked out two medium/​large pumpkins which costed $ 9 altogether. We were hoping for some pumpkin pie as that seems to go hand in hand with pumpkin patches, but there wasn’t any. They were selling candy and chips in their main tent. They also a fro-​yo food truck that arrived around 1pm. Two flavored only– some sort of chocolate and pumpkin spice. We tried some of the pumpkin spice– it was sunny and warm, and we wanted to support the biz. Not bad.
Quite happy that we decided to check out a non-​Half Moon Bay pumpkin patch. Very cool to see all types of pumpkins on the vine still too.
We spent about $ 50 in all for two hours of activities and two pumpkins. Not bad at all!

This place is great!!! It’s just the right balance of size, not overwhelmingly big but not so small that the kids get bored. There’s lots to do and something for everyone. Their pumpkins are spendy but their activities are very reasonable (face painting, petting zoo, cow train). Great location too.

I love this place! I took my 2-​year-​old son here and we ended up staying for four hours. Between the pyramid of hay, the free kids’ hay maze, and the tractor ride, we were having a ball. They also had a lot of unusual/​heirloom pumpkins that my son had a great time just running around and looking at – calling them weird, yucky, silly, etc. We went to another local patch that was too big (it took us twenty minutes just to walk from the parking lot) but this one was just the right size for us. The only problem was that there were too many pumpkins to choose from. :)

It’s a small pumpkin patch. They have a huge variety of pumpkins to pick but as far as kids activities go, they don’t have many kids activities. The activities they do have are great. They have a petting zoo, a real petting zoo. I have been to many where the animals are in the cages or behind bars And if they stuck their head out you can pet them but not this place… You go in with the animals and walk next to them and pet them.

They have face painting on the weekends. A small straw pyramid. A small straw maze. An adult milo maze.
They do have restrooms but try and go before you get here. They are small Porto-​potties that are on a trailer that’s 3 sizes too small. It’s awkward

Why do i feel like i just got ripped off? Because the prices are rediculously high. Cool patch in Dixon is a way better value, don’t waste your time here. CVS even has pumpkins priced 2 for $ 9 for the same size that bobby dazzler charges $ 20 each. Well priced for bobby maybe, you’ll be dazzled this cash grab.

Last year we went to the pumpkin patch near Dixon (Cool Patch) and that place is HUGE, has a lot of extra things for kids to do that aren’t really necessary and all cost money. This year, they added MORE things for kids that cost MORE money. Sorry, but I think pumpkin patches should be about finding pumpkins! I didn’t want to spent 40 on a maze, 20 playing in corn, more money on go-​carts, etc…
This year, I found Bobby Dazzlers on Unilocal and we decided to try it. We loved it. The maze is much smaller, but doesn’t come with a map. We had so much fun getting lost and trying to find our way out. The pumpkins ranged from a buck (for small decorative ones) a few bucks for the one’s you can eat (YUM) and we spent $ 9.00 on the largest one we purchased. Be careful to note the thickness of the stem if you go for one of the ‘typical’ looking pumpkins, the ones with a thick stem cost 2x more than those with the thinner stems. The one we picked first was $ 18.00 (yikes) so we put it back and found the perfect, still huge, replacement for half the price. And also be aware that some pumpkin varieties just cost more, so if you go for a weird looking one, you may have to pay a lot… look at their example prices when you walk in. We didn’t do the petting zoo and it is off to the side, so my kids didn’t even know it was there. Perfect.
And the staff was really friendly.

My family and I had a great time here. The «$$$» threw me off a little since the reviewers said they’re well-​priced. And in which, they are all very reasonably priced. There’s a big variety on squash and pumpkins that you can pick off the vine, a small petting zoo and cornmaze. No hay ride but wasn’t a big deal for us. It was a good time for our son’s first pumpkin patch!

This is a great little pumpkin patch on the outskirts of Woodland. We’ve made a habit of picking up our pumpkins here every year. They have about ten different kinds of pumpkins and gourds out in the fields for you to pick. As you walk in, you pass samples of each type with their price so you can get an idea of how much you’re about to spend. As you pass by the checkout table, the staff welcomes you and invites you take a wagon. They seem to cut new pumpkins off the vine (?) every day and put those up front, so I guess if you have small kids you don’t have to walk too far. If you have a chance, make sure to do a loop so you can see all the different kinds of pumpkins they have planted in the back.

I love the fact that it’s right off of the freeway and not too far from Woodland. It’s small but not too small… I’ve been to the bigger pumpkin patches in the Sacramento area and was not impressed. Other places tend to be over-​crowded and it puts a damper on the experience. This place gets the job done… It’s got perfect little spots for photo opportunities w/​out all the hoopla of a large «commercial» pumpkin patch. I’m going back every year!

Totally met all my family’s pumpkin patch needs! We especially loved being able to break some off the vine ourselves. Very reasonable prices.

I can’t compare this place to any other pumpkin patch because this is the only one that I have been to. The only reason I came here was because it’s close to my house and for my baby. She got a pumpkin here, pulled on the wagon cart with our pumpkin, touched some animals in the petting area and she even rode a cart that was pulled by a little pony. The prices were very reasonable and they even had a corn maze in which I didn’t go. Maybe if my baby was bigger I would have done the maze.

Variable pricing is negotiable :) Lots of different types of pumpkins, squashes, and gourds. It can be so hot walking down an open field when the sun is out. They do have drinks and snacks for sale, but it’s best to just get in and get out. Oh and they will help you load you car up. Wagon carts and pumpkins make for great photo ops.
