Auto Computer Exchange

I really wish that I researched this company before I gave them my money. BAD business. You wont believe this. I called up and ordered my part. A few days go by, I dont get a shipping notice or receipt. I call up and I find out they got my email address wrong. Ok, everybody is human. I get a receipt, so I know they have it right this time. 2 days go by, I still dont get a shipping notice. I call up, and Chelsea tells me that they need the part number of my old computer (after telling me they didnt). I go outside, take my car apart, get the number and I give it to her… she says, your part should be there by Monday. Ok. So I wait till Monday… Tuesday…Wednesday.Thursday. Nothing shows up. So I call up and get another girl. I asked her where my part was… and she said, As it turns out, we didnt have your part so we have ordered it from somebody else. Once it gets here, we flash it. and we will send it out to you the same day. Um… what? At the very least you could have emailed and told me! And that’s not it! 3 weeks go by! 3 WEEKS people! And I still dont have my computer… that I paid for. I havent heard a word from them, or gotten a shipping notice. I am pissed, I finally lose my patience and call up and Anna says… Oh… a week ago, we got your computer from the other place, when it got here, it didnt work. We sent it back and we are now searching for another place to get one. WHAT??? That sounds like something I should know! You had three weeks to tell me this… and not a word. I had to chase them every step of the way. I canceled my order right there on the spot, and I highly doubt that I will get refunded properly. IF you are lucky enough to get a computer from this place… I am betting that they just happened to have yours in stock, and judging by the other folks on here… I doubt it will work right for very long. If nothing else… FIND ANOTHER PLACE!

RUDE, RUDE, RUDE on the phone.
No one answers the phone # on their eBay website, or their regular site. Glad I had to search it because I would not have seen all the 2 star reviews.
And I was going to send these folks almost $ 1000 of my money. ((Thanks Unilocalers!))

Bought a reman IDM from this company, was sold with a «lifetime warranty». Two years later it dies, call the 1−877−489−4659 the phone number on reman tag on unit and number is disconnected. After some research online I found countless accounts of this company fraudulently advertising a lifetime warranty, also found countless stories posted of the poorly remanufactured units that fail after 1 – 2 years. This company is so shady– with so many fraud claims they had to change their phone number so people couldn’t contact them to redeem their advertised /​promised warranty. I cannot wait till I’m in Florida next and can pay them a personal visit… See their reviews at BBB website and their F rating…

I ordered a PCM for 01 Dodge Caravan 3.3l. I installed the PCM i got from this company, started the car and found 3 to 4 other problems. Called them back and informed the lady at the desk (Magie) she advised me to return the PCM back. I returned the PCM back waiting for my refund. I got only $ 149.00 out of $ 249.00. Their products are defective but still they sell it to customers, knowing customer will return the product back and they can keep $ 100 stocking fee + Shipping. Will nor recommend this company for anyone. You better buy it from dealership pay more get good working product with warranty. I lost my money, i lost my customer because of their bad PCM. I in Northern California, I wish i would read all these comments about this company before doing business with them.

Not a lot of fun getting screwed over. If you like to deal with a company that lies to you– try these guys out. Glad my $ 130 went up in smoke.

Ordered a replacement ECM despite the low ratings, funds are tight and the low price was attractive. Bolted the unit up and it’s worked perfectly for about 500 miles. Gas mileage is better now than its been in a long time. I would give them business again. Rating 4 stars because I never give 5 stars…

Unfortunately, I have to give them one star!!! If I could I would deduct stars from them.
If you like being treated like crap and being yelled at, not listened to, and getting a PCM that doesn’t work, this is the place for you.
I called them four times. They were very rude on the phone and hung up on me once. I called twice to try and order the part, once to get an exchange (turned out their rudeness led me to ask for a refund), and one last time to dispute them trying to rip me off on my refund. EVERY single time I got a rude person on the phone.
Unless you are a masochist DO NOT deal with these people!!! NEVER EVER EVER!!!

This place is terrible. They sent me 4 bad computers and then said they could not send anymore. Their store policy is not to sned more than 4 replacemnets even if they are all bad. They told me I would get a full refund in 3 days for the computers and just to keep the bad one. I had already sent my computer in to them as a core. The refund did not come and I called them back (many, many times). I was told by several different people (Gus — the manager, Andy, Mirale, Lisa, and finally Nancy) that I would get a refund. No refund came. I asked to speak to the owner and they refused to transfer me to him and would not give me his last name. Several weeks later I finally was about to report them to the Better Buainess Bureau and the State Attorney General’s office when I finally got a refund from Nancy. It was weeks of lies, being put on hold for hours, and never calling me back. I am convinced the onlt reason I got a refund was because I was a pain the butt and called them continuously several times a day for several weeks. This company sells garbage auto computers and then refuses to give refunds. It is a total SCAM business and avoid it at all costs.

This company sent me 4 ecm’s and not one of them was working with my application so I spoke with the manager as they were going to charge me 72.76 for programming an ecm that would not even work.
The manager Brian told me oh do not worry I will make sure you get a 100% refund this was on 05/​18/​2012 and it has been a month now and I have yet to get my refund, he keeps telling me it was sent but it is funny because it is not in my bank.
I filled a BBB complaint I am about to file a complaint with the local authorities now.
Really stay away from this company!
HE HAD A LADY TO TELL ME THE REFUND WAS DEPOSITED ON THE 12TH AND IT TAKES 3 DAYS TO CLEAR WELL IT IS THE 16TH AND GUESS WHAT YEP NO DEPOSIT.

Was sent a defective Ecm, then lied to regarding its replacement date. Then when I called to find out its ETA was spoken to rudely, yelled at and hung up on! Too many choices to waste time with poor customer service!!!

Beware, this Company is as bad as it gets. They have top status with a Yahoo search for Auto Computers (ECM).I ordered from these guys, paid by CC, and they never sent anything! As a matter of fact, they have so many complaints about them, that I feel like a fool for trusting «yahoo» and the lying Salesperson! Do yourself a favor and do a Google search,(Keywords) Auto Computer Exchange Complaints.
And whatever you do DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR CC #, under any circumstances!
