Established in 1986.

William Wesley has been in the beauty business for over 40 years. What started as a small salon in the 80’s has grown to 3 locations in three cities. William Wesley believes in constantly evolving with the best products and services from around the Globe. In 2012 William Wesley decided to reinvent his business once again with a new training program for the salon and spa. «We have renewed our focus to not only be technical experts but also becoming customer service experts.» To accomplish this William Wesley brought in Dr. Bryan Williams former customer service manager for Ritz Carlton hotels and Julien Bonnin a master salon educator specializing in French haircutting. We pride ourselves on having the best consultations breaking down likes, dislikes, and recommendations to set our guests up for the most success when they leave the salon. I had a very bad experience with an esthetician there this weekend. She just did a poor job overall. I reached out to the manager and she was very helpful and offered me a full refund and asked that I give them another try in the future. I plan to next month but only because of the manager’s professionalism.

So very disappointed. Cut color style… I expected the price yet, my hair felt burnt, th cut was no where near what I asked for. The stylist I found out AFTER THE COLOR PROCESING started had two months of experience. She was nice enough, poor thing and I actually felt sorry for her as she looked at her end result.
The receptionist, quite frankly a snob… seriously, this is davenport iowa, it’s a beauty shop, NOT a salon.

I am from Philadelphia and was coming to Iowa to visit my bf who plays baseball here. I work night shifts and didn’t end up having time to get my eyebrows waxed at home before I came. I like to pretend that I am an eyebrow connoisseur, I was very worried coming to a small town that I would not find a place good enough to was my eyebrows up to my standards. (I know I sound like a snob). Boy was I wrong! I called this salon and they were so helpful. I made an appointment and told the receptionist how picky I was with my eyebrows and she hooked me up with Claudia, the spa director. She assured me that I would be well taken care of. Still, I was nervous.
I show up to the spa 10 minutes early and get seated right away. Claudia was so nice and very knowledgable. Studied my fave for a little and began waxing. It took about 10 minutes and when she was done they were PERFECT! She kept them full, like I liked them and with a beautiful arch. She really took the time to listen to what I wanted and pluck any little hair that wasn’t removed by the wax. I could not believe the result. (Don’t tell my water at home, but this was the best eyebrow wax I ever got). 5 stars for the salon and 5 stars for wonderful Claudia! Thank you so much!

From my wife: I had my wedding hair and make up done here and both were perfect. I did a trial run of my airbrush make up with Kylie, and she was wonderful. It was well worth the money. My hair turned out exactly right, and I can’t remember the stylist’s name, but she did an excellent job. My bridesmaids and mom were also very happy with their hair styles. I had Audi put the NovaLashes on me, and although they are quite costly, it was absolutely worth it for the wedding day. Three weeks later, the lashes are still about 65% attached. Audi is also very personable and sweet. I’ll definitely return to WW for any hair/​makeup/​wedding needs.

I had a facial by Cara and a massage by Amy. They were both good and I was happy until I checked out. Whoever worked on you last stays with you at the check out, even when telling the receptionist what to put in for gratuity and then deciding if you are going to make another appointment. I don’t feel this is good business practice, it makes the customers feel pressured.

5 stars for massage services; 1 star for pedicure services. Hence the happy medium of 3 stars.
I came here to get a pedicure — which I never do. I decided that it would be a swell idea… not so much. I could have done a better job. The chairs were kinda jank, and she didn’t do a very good job painting my nails or scrubbin’ my feet. Meh, I wouldn’t pay the money to go back.
The massage was excellent — very relaxing. She did a great job — I had just gotten my wisdom teeth out, and she made sure to be very gentle around that area. Again, not cheap but that was worth the money.

Paid alot of money for the QCA to get a good haircut… but the guy who was cutting it halfway thru said my hair was waaay too short for the cut and still kept doing it in the same style. WTF???
Needless to say, this was a one shot deal. Never again, asshole. I can cut my own hair and make it look shitty.
For $ 60 I expect something better than I walked out with.

I really like William Wesley Salon. I’ve been in for a few services and always enjoyed the experience.
Most recently I had my hair done for a wedding I was attending in the area. For one thing, I had a hard time finding a salon open on a Sunday, but William Wesley was open (I was only looking at other salons to find something closer to my hotel). I only had a vague idea of what I wanted and she did a terrific job. She called them «beach curls», I called it «crazy hair», but by either name it was cute. Not only was it a cute do but it lasted all night, even after some Greek dancing.
I’ve had a few manicures and pedicures here that were relaxing and well done.
I’d definitely suggest William Wesley to anyone in the area looking for a spa or salon. I’ve bought gift cards for local friends and family. Their prices are very reasonable also.

I was a client at WW but left to follow my hair stylist. I returned recently to see Gayla (well known in the QC for providing high-​end skin care) for facials after FaceLogic closed.
Gayla exceeded my expectations. A peaceful, relaxing experience. The face creams I bought are very good.
The only complaint I have about WW is that the main salon echos loudly with all of the women chatting. Thus four stars.
