At DAA, we help students with the college, boarding school, and day school admissions processes. We also work with students on career guidance, award programs, and in finding summer programs.

History

Established in 2005.

We started in 2005 and have grown each year. In addition to working with local students, we also have clients all over the world. We have worked with students in 22 different countries.

Meet the Business Owner

Kristin and Michael W.

Business Owner

Kristin M. White founded Darien Academic Advisors in 2005. She is a professional member of the Independent Educational Consultants Association (IECA), a member or the IECA Outreach Committee, and has worked with over 300 students and families on the college admissions and the boarding school admissions process.

Michael White is the Co-​Director of DAA and specializes in working with student-​athletes and with international students. He has worked with students-​athletes across the athletic spectrum, from football to water polo, from Division I to Division III.
