I went into Dr. Bachelor’s office for a consultation for a breast augmentation and right when I walked in, his staff was so friendly and welcoming. I then met with Dr. Bachelor and I knew right away that he was the surgeon for me. He makes you feel very comfortable for something that isn’t all that comfortable to talk about. I went from very small to a natural c cup, and I couldn’t be happier with the results! Dr. Bachelor has been very attentive since my post op appointment, making sure I’m healing correctly and doing the right excises. I had consultations with many doctors before I choose one and by far I would recommend Dr. Bachelor, he will exceed your expectations!

I had facial surgery upper and lower and major chemical peel. I am VERY pleased with the results. Before the surgery when I looked in the mirror I looked tired with saggy eye lids and very large wrinkles on both cheeks. Also turkey neck! All went very well and now I am happy when I look in the mirror. I also look like my younger self. Not stretched or freaky at all. As a matter of fact if people don’t know I’ve had it done they just think retirement has been good to me! I definitely recommend Dr. Bachelor and his staff. Everyone was very professional. Of course as they say No Pain No Gain. Recovery is different for all but expect some ‘discomfort’!

Let me preface this review by saying that Dr. Bachelor seems like a very nice person, calm and comforting and was a pleasure to deal with but I’m afraid his techniques just aren’t up to snuff. I had an eye job, complete with under eye bags removal, neck lift with lipo and a chemical/​laser treatment around my lips for deep wrinkles and lines. Well, the only thing I’m happy about is the under eye bags removal; that turned out great. But the upper eye job is very weird; one eye is perfectly fine with the scar right on the lid line so it’s invisible but the other eye he put the scar well above the lid line, VERY visible and he finished off with a very visible and big stitch scar right on the inside of the eye by the bridge of the nose so there’s a big pooch of scar tissue there. I’m embarrassed every time I go to the dentist because it’s quite obvious I’ve had a bad eye job especially under those bright lights; no hiding there!
Now on to the neck lift; first of all, he never mentioned to me that for about 2 — 3 months after the bandages came off, I’d feel like I was being strangled and it was a horrific several months of healing (I think they don’t tell you this on purpose because no one would opt for this procedure if they knew that). After a year and a half, I’m still a little numb under my chin from the lipo and have a small scar, which isn’t a big deal, and also still feel a bit of discomfort under my neck from the tightness of the pulled muscles, but the most bizarre thing is that he totally mutilated both my ear lobes! In doing the neck lift, he tucked the skin behind my ears in such a way that the ear lobes got smaller and misshapen and now one hoop earring always sticks out in a weird way because the lobe doesn’t lay as it used to! When I mentioned to him that my ear lobes were totally deformed at a subsequent visit, he said, «We can fix that.» No thanks, I shudder to think what that would entail! Plus after the lift, one side of my face is a lot fuller than the other as a result of pulling one side back tighter than the other and I think it’s quite evident. Also, after the neck lift, it got rid of the «waddle» neck, but now because of the way he lifted the sides, I have these weird saggy jowels that have developed right under my jawline that I never had before. UGH.
And now on to the chemical/​laser treatment on lip lines; that was the most painful for healing and the most extreme. The area around my mouth was horrifically burned and painful for quite a long time and I wouldn’t have minded IF IT HAD GOTTEN RID OF THE LINES as promised! After a year and a half, the lines are exactly the same and when I went to see Dr. Bachelor a year after the procedure, he told me that sometimes deep wrinkles and lines won’t change. Well, I paid a good chunk of money for this procedure and never would have done it if he would have told me this in the first place! He initially told me that this procedure would be perfect for someone like me and really does change deep lines and wrinkles. This was a total waste of money.
All in all, I think Dr. Bachelor’s techniques are sloppy and maybe a tad outdated. For the record, by looking at me I look perfectly fine and my friends/​family think it’s quite an improvement (I always wear my hair down so no one can see these obvious flaws), but they don’t see or feel what I do everyday in my mirror. I am not very happy with the overall results of the three VERY EXPENSIVE procedures and would recommend NOT going to him. I’m actually thinking of finding another good surgeon who may be able to fix these really strange mistakes but I think I’m kind of gun shy for anymore plastic surgery at the moment.

Been over five years I have scars all around my chin due to a bad chemical peel gone bad.
I wake up eveyday and have to cover the scars. Years back I was horrifed and tried to get some answers. His response was «I will have a good talking too the nurse who was watching you» I tired to to sue but you have to sign a waiver «at risk». I went back to him and begged him to help…
his attorney responded with a threat that I was no longer allowed to speak to him or his staff. Awful experince took me this long to put it in writing. Beware…

Heard he has a drinking problem. Probably hung over when he did my eyes. Terrible job. Had to go to a top surgeon in San Fran to fix my eye. I went to two top docs and they could not believe Bachelors poor work.

I’ve been seeing Dr. Bachelor for 10 years. He has done three breast surgeries for me. I have been impressed with all of his work. He did two breast augmentations and my last procedure was breast explant surgery. I decided to have my implants removed, nothing to do with Dr. Bachelor’s work. That was for my own reasons. When I went in to see the doctor before my explant he was very understanding and gave me choices and let me make my own decision. Dr. Bachelor never made me feel like he was talking me into anything I didn’t want to do.
Since my explant surgery I’ve been very happy with my results, and it’s all thanks to Dr. Bachelor. He really does great work! I have read some of these other negative reviews and can’t believe what people say. I have always had a great experience, and would highly recommend Dr. Bachelor. I guess you can’t please everyone but please read those negative reviews with caution and don’t believe everything you read. Dr. Bachelor is amazing!

Our family has gone to Dr. Bachelor’s office for the past 10 years. He’s very thorough, answers all your questions, and does great work. He fixed my broken nose and did an upper eyelid lift about 2 years ago. This month he did a facelift, lower eyelid, and brow lift. I flew to SoCal and had some swelling and a missed suture, so I visited a well known plastic surgeon in San Diego. He looked at the work on my face saying that he did everything that he would do, and that’s rare since no two surgeons operate the same way. But when my husband took out the photo of me the morning of the surgery he exclaimed «Wow!» If you want to have that same reaction to your plastic surgery, then you can trust Dr. Bachelor to get the best results for you.

Dr. Bachelors response: «Applying pressure to hypertrophic scars is a valid and long used method to try and improve the appearance and maturation of scars. Radiation treatments are of value also but are generally reserved as a later treatment because of the cost and risk associated with the treatment «
Dr. Bachelor ive had my scar for many many years I know each and every method to avoid re-​appearance, obviously you are not up to date with the methods, sounds like you googled «keloids» and copy & pasted what came up first. Besides you being so out to date with this procedure I think the worst part of this experience was your staff. Which I see you have no apologies for.

What an incredible job Dr. Bachelor did on my nose! It looks so wonderful, I could not be happier. He is truly an artist. His staff was helpful and pleasant.

Dr. Bachelor performed a brow lift, lower lids and face lift on me in August of this year. I disliked looking at myself in the mirror. I am 52 in good physical shape, protect my face from the sun and have had a fraxel laser treatment. Regardless, my skin is very thin and I had suddenly started looking tired and old. I am now two and a half months post surgery and I am thrilled. I really coudn’t be happier. I have no visible scars and look completely natural. I feel like I have turned back the clock 15 years.
At one of the follow up visits I asked Dr Bachelor if he was an artist. In his very understated way he told me that he had been studying portrait painting since he was 12 years old with an artist of some note. He is not just a surgeon but an artist. I am delighted.
He did my mother’s lower lids when she was 75 and she looks great as well.

did all my homework and then had Dr. Bachelor do my eyelid surgery. I could have picked someone older or younger but I went with someone who was meticulous and a real gentleman. He is experienced and extremely up to date in the latest advances but can tap into tremendous experience to weed out what is fadish vs. a true new advancement. I am very happy with my results.

Dr. Bachelor did my mother’s face lift 30 years ago, mine 9 years ago, and 3 other sisters within the last 3 years. He has a great eye for natural, has done beautiful work on all of us, and is conservative about jumping on every new band-​wagon. Which means if he is doing something he has researched it and believes it gets great results.
Good consultations and very nice office peeps, they will all take great care of you. Of course with this many sisters, we have also referred quite a number of friends who are all very happy as well!

Dr. Bachelor was terrific — but be careful — there is «bait and switch» going on with his back office. I had a procedure done a year ago and asked that it be submitted to the insurance company for partial payment. The insurance company paid a small portion and then I received a bill for $ 2000 more than the original estimate!!! I loved my visit to Dr. Bachelors office today! The office staff, especially Arlene, was a pleasure to work with and the office itself was cheery and well kept, especially on such a dark and stormy day.
They are up on all the lastest technologies, in fact they were attending a class on a new filler procedure while I was there, one that is just now coming available and very few doctors are up to date with.
They also carry the best skin care products, and know exactly what to recommend based on your procedurs and skin type.
Go, Go, Go. you won’t be dissapointed.

Dr. Bachelor and all of his staff are amazing people. They do their job with the up most care and talent, and never fall short of wonderful. There is no doubt that the whole staff, Dr. Bachelor in particular, will take great care of you and the procedure you need or desire.
