Clean & Clear Pools

Called to have my pump replaced and never even received a return call. Guess they don’t need the business. Certainly won’t be getting mine.

I’m surprised at the couple of poor reviews! We have used Clean and Clear pools for several years, starting with Dan and Debbie and now working with Tracy and Mark. We have been very pleased! No more green cloudy pool for us! :) Our pool sweep gave out a couple weeks ago and Mark was able to fix it and was so reasonable! Tracy couldn’t be any nicer to work with and always gets back to you very promptly if you have any questions! I would not hesitate to recommend them!

Clean and Clear has done an excellent job servicing my pool for the past 2 years. I have been a pool owner for 22 years, and have used pool services and also maintained the pool myself. Clean and Clear is by far the best service I’ve had in terms of price and quality of work. They are very responsive and my pool has been clean and clear since I hired them. They recently installed a variable speed pump (at a reasonable price), and I am very happy with the pump and the installation work. I recommend them!

Clean and Clear is great. I have used their service for the past 11 years starting with the prior owners and continuing with the newer owners and both were outstanding. The owners are extremely helpful and have gone above and beyond with helping with equipment problems.

We had a new pool built about 2 years ago and after the initial pool care from the builder we were on our own. We couldn’t seem to get it dialed in so we called Clean & Clear Pools. As soon as they took over, our pool was beautiful! No more hazy, cloudy water! They are professional, informative and have been doing a great job at maintaining our pool! 5 stars and would definitely recommend them.

AGREED! I would not use this company either — they are no Dan and Debbie! We have had issues with service and billing since they took over. Interesting how a pool is green and murky and they think that is normal. We also have had issues with them touching our timer settings, but they have denied it because it’s company policy not too — well the timer is not moving itself! Very frustrating and we should have left them a long time ago. When we called to discuss, the owner got an attitude with us and we canceled our service with them.

Don’t use this company!!! If I could give zero stars I would.
I used Clean and Clear for years with no problems and then new owners took over and the service started deteriorating. The people they use don’t seem to know what they’re doing. They re-​set my timer many times after I specifically told them to leave it alone, thus causing me to have sky high PGE bills. I had to constantly go out and check the timer settings after they left. They also couldn’t keep my account straight and would send me duplicate bills even when I asked them to please stop sending paper bills and use email only.
The final straw came when I needed help with the equipment, something Clean and Clear can’t handle and called in another pool service company. Ends up Clean and Clear calls them when they have a problem they can’t solve!

We have been using Clean & Clear pools for about a year now and we could not be happier. We moved into a house with an older pool and have never owned a pool before. We tried 3 different pool companies before Clean and Clear. The other companies either never showed up or if they did they were here for about 2 minutes. Because of the condition of our pool it needs a lot of maintenance. Mark (the owner) is fantastic! He taught me how the equipment works and anytime I have a problem I can call or text him and he gets right back to me. If I have a problem anytime of day or on weekends he is very responsive and helps me trouble shoot the issue right away. He has saved us a ton of money by not having to call out expensive pool repair companies. He also installed a new heater for our pool/​spa. I shopped around for equipment and installation and he ended up being the most reasonably priced. Tracy handles the invoicing and she could not be a nicer person to work with. Overall great experience.

We had just bought a new home with a pool, I was not happy with the condition of the pool when we bought it, as it was green from lack of care from previous provider. I found Clean and Clear Pools on the Internet and spoke with Tracy one of the owners and was pleased by the customer service that was provided when I called. The other owner Mark showed up the next day and I was confident in his ability to service the pool, he instantly addressed the green pool and within days it was Clean and Clear. He taught me all about the equipment, run times for filters, and fixed my pool sweep. I have been very happy with my pool now and love swimming in it, I recommend Clean and Clear Pools to anyone reading this message.

My pool has been crystal clear every single day of the year since Clean and Clear Pools started servicing it! There is no chlorine or other chemical smell and there is no irritation to the kids eyes after swimming all day. The service and attention to detail is phenominal! I get phone call updates if anything is needed and Clean and Clear will take care of it or tell me what I need if I want to do it myself. Clean and Clear has become my one stop shop for EVERYTHING related to my pool, all I have to do is swim! :-)

We have used Clean and Clear Pools for a little over 2 years now. When we bought our home, the pool could have been a fish pond since it was so green with just standing water on the bottom. When we had it cleaned and refilled, we did a miserable job of trying to regulate the chemicals and got it back to being almost as bad as it was when we bought the home. We had one company come and clean it and they charged us quite a bit of money and the clean pool lasted a very short time with us back at the helm of adding the chemicals. In the meantime, I happened to see the Clean and Clear Pools truck servicing another pool on our block and gave them a call. Dan came out to service the pool and we could not have been happier. We can set our clocks by his prompt weekly service and the monthly charge is so reasonable that we couldn’t buy the chemicals ourselves, let alone keep it as nice as he seems to be able to do, for the price. Dan’s wife Debbie is an absolute pleasure to deal with also and has always taken care of all of our requests promptly and efficiently. I would recommend Clean and Clear Pools to anyone needing a reliable pool chemical maintenance company.

Dan did excellent pool clean job for us for about a year. We moved to this new home with a pool. The previous owner turned off the pool. When we moved in, the pool color turned green. We hired a pool maintenance company fixed the problem. He charged us lots of money and didn’t do much of work. It was a bad experience. We find clean and clear pool company and decided to give them try.
Dan came to fix the problem. He didn’t charge extra money. We pay him monthly service fee (very reasonable). Now, our pool is very clear and beautiful. Dan and his wife Debbie are always available when we have questions about pool. He kept very good pool maintenance record, communication us very well about when we need to clear filter, when we need have solar turn on and turn off. He did some small equipment repair work with reasonable price. As first time pool owner, he really helps us a lot.
I’m very appreciated Dan and Debbie’s dedication for their customer. I feel our pool is in good hand and I am highly recommended them to anyone who needs good pool clean service.
