Xu’s Chinese Healing

I had tried different Acupuncture doctors but I shall say Dr. Xu is the BEST of the bests ^.* I’ve been with him almost 8 years, and he is my life savior!!! His treatment is EXCELLENT with his wonderful skills & caring personality ^.^

I have only been here twice, came in desperately for recurrent bladder infections and Dr. Xu took a long time with me without making me feel rushed. He talked to me about stress, emotions and how it relates to disease and how chi and immune system play a part in our overall health. He did acupuncture and cupping on me, it was a little uncomfortable but totally doable, then applied heat to make me sweat during acupuncture and I could feel the toxins coming out. He boiled herbs for me which I picked up the next day. I am not kidding you, with just ONE treatment my bladder feels 60% better, I am going back a few more times to make sure they don’t recur, but this beats taking antibiotics and other chemical western medicines that my Dr. wanted to put me on.
Fast forward to March 2015 — After about a month of treatments, Dr. Xu completely cured my recurring UTI’s and kidney pains. Acu, cupping, moxibustion and herbs did the trick and I still go for other things as they come up. I haven’t had any symptoms in 4 – 5 months now. Very nice Dr. too, very honest and authentic.

Dr Xu is a wonderful and caring practitioner. He has balanced my energy so that I have stopped taking hormones. I also have a incontinence issue and while that is not completely healed I have much more control than I used to. I have also used Dr Xu for different pulls and strains I have had due to sports injuries and within 1 – 2 visits I am pain free and back to normal.
I make sure I visit him every 4 – 6 weeks for a recharge!
This guy is the real deal and I trust him completely for anything that goes wrong with me.

Dr Xu is simply amazing! I can’t even tell you what a difference he’s made in my life — just go see him! I’ve tried so many acupuncturists but never has someone helped me so much, so fast. He is such a gentle, sweet & intelligent man. For my treatments he combined acupuncture with cupping and massage, and herbal teas, and my health situation improved tremendously. Within 10 visits, a health problem I had struggled greatly with — involving lots of pain and medical treatments — for five years, was completely gone. Highly recommended!

Dr. Xu is just amazing! He has helped me with neck pain and circulation problems. I have tried everything else and nothing has been as effective as his treatments. He is kind, gentle and compassionate, not to mention extremely intelligent. I would highly recommend Dr. Xu.

I went to see Dr. Xu as I had injured my knee. I was getting discouraged because it was going on 3 months and the pain persisted, no matter what I tried. I have always been active, and did not want surgery. After 4 visits to Dr. Xu, I have no pain in my knee. It was actually better after the first visit, but I continued as he is also working on the arthritis I have in my fingers. I feel better in all regards. So glad I went to see him!

Dr. Xu is AMAZING! I had a car accident when I was 16 (many years ago) and as I’ve aged my neck has gotten worse and worse. Every 3 months or so I get a pinched nerve feeling and lose lots of time trying to get better. Since moving to OC from San Francisco I had no hope of finding another great healer, thankfully I was wrong! Dr. Xu is a very skilled and experiences Acupuncturist and healer! He also uses the Chinese Cupping method which has also helped tremendously. Let me tell you that I’ve tried everything else first, Chiropractic, Massage, Stretching, Yoga, Strength Training, etc… all of those things help but once you get to the point of severe pain-​forget it-​there is nothing else! I’ve seen other patients come in for weight loss, smoking help, digestive problems and circulation issues.
Mostly you might want to know it does not hurt, it relieves the pain which is all I really need. His office is clean, relaxing and simple. He spent lots of time with me discussing my issue and lifestyle. He examined my tongue and read my pulse. He does take insurance, but my PPO did not cover it-​he charges $ 80.00 a visit and I am there about an hour to an hour and 15 minutes. I leave feeling better than having a massage and totally pain free! Sometimes I go once and sometimes twice, then I’m good for another 3 or 4 months.

My friends, family, and myself have been going to Dr. Xu for years. He is hands down the most amazing, affordable, compassionate and EFFECTIVE acupuncturist I have ever gone to. When western medicine doctors throw up there hands and tell you there is nothing more they can do for you, or they don’t know the cause of your pain, go see dr. xu and he will cure what ails you. He has cured the «un-​curable,» time and again. From coughs to paralysis, he has worked miracles.
