History
Established in 2013.
I’ve spent most of my career in the hospitality industry, both front and back of the house as we say. I truly enjoy all aspects of entertaining family and friends. Food brings us all closer and allows us to spend valuable time with each other at the table.
I recently graduated from CSULB with my Teaching Credential and it became very clear to me as to my new direction. Cook.Learn.Play is a program that goes beyond the classroom, one that will teach children the art of hospitality, etiquette, and culinary techniques.
In this busy world, we need to remember that mealtime is an event worth savoring and excite our children through the different culinary adventures.
I am excited to take this journey with Savannah Steak and Chophouse.
We offer cooking classes, private themed birthday parties, Scout badge workshops, home school programs, and incentive programs.
Meet the Business Owner
Sandy C.
Business Owner
I am the owner of CookLearnPlay who is passionate about all things culinary!
I have over thirty years of hospitality experience.
I have my BS in Finance as well as my Multiple Subject Teaching Credential.
It is important for children to develop a relationship with food by developing their intelligence of taste, smell, sound, sight, and touch. Children will leave CookLearnPlay with a love of cooking, better manners, and a desire to help at home.
I feel it is imperative that children take an active role in consuming foods that are really good for their bodies.
We all need to view mealtime as an event worth savoring with family and friends!
