Pari Eyebrow Threading

For my South Asian sisters out there who are as nervous about getting their eyebrows done as I am: have no fear!
I’ve only gone to Rana once so far, but I am so impressed by her work that I find myself writing this. Like some of the other ladies who have posted, I came to Pari Eyebrow Threading after a disastrous trip to the another salon where one of my eyebrows looked larger than the other. I explained all of my brow woes to Rana in her home studio, and described how I’d like it fixed. She took the time to hear me out, give me advice on which parts to grow out, and was so detailed with her work. I finally don’t have cuts all over my face and irritated skin after her good work! Rana is a wonderful woman who is very sweet and kind. I highly recommend her and will definitely go back.
Some notes: Rana does have a home studio, and it is somewhat unusual to go into someone’s home. If you see a shoe rack outside her door, you’re int he right place. Her place is near the San Bruno mountain park, which may be a little farther off for some. She has one parking spot available for her guests (I believe it is #267, but check in with her). It’s a gated community, and she may have her family members in the house. Don’t be intimidated if you hear someone else pick up the phone when you call in for an appointment. Rana is in cosmetology school as well and makes sure her workspace is hygienic, washes her hands before touching you skin and has a good set up.
Trust me — I wouldn’t take so much time to review someone if I didn’t feel like they provided a great service. :)

The first time I went to Pari, I made an appointment for 12:30 but there wasn’t anyone there when I got there. I called a few hours later and she told me that the person who made the appointment with me wasn’t her… O_​O. But anyways, made another appointment to see her after work and this time I left a happy customer! She was super nice and made sure she got all my little hairs. Left her place with fleek ass fuck eyebrows so I’m happy!

She was friendly and quick. I don’t have much hair so my «clean up» session only lasted a few minutes. This was my first time threading, so i can’t compare to any prior experiences. Next time, I’d like to ask her to do some shaping.

Rana is extremely kind, professional, and did an amazing job with my brows! I specified that I did not want them too thin, and brought in a picture. She checked with me at various times to see what I preferred, gave suggestions, and I ended up extremely happy. I’ll be moving more south in CA soon, but have a feeling I would want to return just to have such a positive experience!

Eyebrows literally make or break your face. That’s why I try to be careful with who I trust to do my brows. Between waxing and threading, I have learned through the years that threading is my preference. It can be a painful process … so threading is not recommended for the faint of heart or for the super sensitive skinned.
When I lived in San Jose my eyebrows would get touched only by the owner of JP Beauty Salon (
), but living in the SF area I knew I had to find a place to religiously get my eyebrows done. ESPECIALLY because the lady at the Stonestown Eyebrow shop done $%#$‘ed up my eyebrows previously (I was obviously desperate). I turned to trusty Unilocal to find a spot just for that, and luckily found Pari (also goes by Rana) Eyebrow Threading. I saw that her price for eyebrows were $ 10 (CASH ONLY) and thought that was pretty reasonable. So I called her and made a same day appointment.
Like other Unilocalers mentioned, she lives up the hill from Geneva/​Cow Palace in a gated community. You can call her to find out what the code is to enter. Her street is the first street to your right as you enter the compound. There are a few parking spaces (without numbers above them) but when those are full, feel free to go up a little bit more onto Oak Street (I believe) and theres more spots there.
Onto the service: Pari works literally from her home. There are no signs from the outside of her house, you just have to make sure you’re at #2406 and ring the doorbell. This time, her (daughter?) opened the door for me and led me to a room. The room was literally a bedroom with a mirror and a chair, so if you’re weird about this kind of thing, then I don’t recommend coming here. The moment I met Pari I knew I could trust her, because her brows were on FLEEK. And if her brows on fleek, mine are about to be too!
I explained to her my concerns from when that bizzznatch at Stones messed it up and how I wanted it not to be too thin and give it a higher arch. She explained to me her concerns and how she would try her best and how it would be a process to regrow it to how I want them to be. I can definitely see myself working with Pari again — highly recommend.

Found her on Unilocal ! & glad I did :) she does work from her residents and you do need to take off your shoes before you come in. Pari is such a nice lady & took her time and explain each step what she was doing and was going to do. It took about 30 minutes for my brows to be done because she wanted to make sure my brows was on fleek lol but overall I will be coming back again and book a day or two before because she does get booked fast good thing she took me the same day before the holiday

Pari is a nice and sweet lady. But this is a business so I will be straight.
I’ve been coming to Pari for the last year and her work was fine. Price is average. But yesterday was too much.
She took me in when I was 10 mins late to my appointment. My brows turned out nice as usual. But the next day when I woke up I notice there were numerous cuts around my brows. It looked so bad, like I had acne (picture attached). Not sure how long it’ll take to heal… But I’m definitely disappointed and won’t be going back. I’ve been to numerous different eyebrow threaders, this is the first time I got cut like this.

Pari is great in her eyebrow threading craft. She’s precise, but quick. My eyebrows have never looked better! Also, she’s super sweet, very accommodating and her prices are great. 5 stars, easy.

Rana aka Pari is such a sweetheart!
I was looking for places to get my eyebrows threaded in Daly City and noticed this one that’s super close to my house! Her business is located in her very own home (you can’t miss it — it’s literally outside where Google Maps/​Waze would take you. If you’re looking for parking, you’ll probably have to park on the street between her place and Cow Palace or Geneva.
I called in at 10:45AM and asked if I could come in later that day. Super easy process to book your appointment and it is recommended; though she did mention she takes drop ins, but they have the possibility of waiting for awhile so call in to confirm!
The first thing Pari does is wash her hands before she begins the process. I told her right away the ‘flaws’ with my brows and she gave me some options but first cleaned up my brows before thinking about making it thinner or anything like that. The whole process from the moment I sat down until I was done was a total of 25 minutes. I’m glad she took her time and was paid close attention to detail!
Pari has helped me shape and even out my brows that have been crooked for the longest time. I definitely would recommend you come here!

I will never go anywhere else to get my eyebrows threaded ever again.
I used to get my eyebrows waxed over at Bloomingdales at the downtown Benefit Brow Bar counter. Ever since going to Pari, I have not wanted to go anywhere else. My friend actually recommended me to her because she has gone to see Rana many times before. I’ve come to her at least 5 times and my brows have looked exactly how I’ve wanted them to — I’ve even recommended her to many of my close circle of friends and they are now her regulars. I absolutely love the fact that she has an inexpensive business inside of her home. At first, Im not gonna lie, I was a little sketched out only because it was inside of a private residence, but Rana makes you feel right at home (literally in her home).
I will admit there was a time where my eyebrow was cut just a little, but it didn’t affect the fact that I still will always come to her in order to get my eyebrows threaded. This little mishap might be the only reason I’m giving 4 stars — but I will rave about her to my clients at my job all the time telling them that Pari is LEGIT.
Thank you Rana for all of your business! I will continuously come back to you because you make the impossible happen when it comes to my eyebrows!
(PS. Her attention to detail is FANTASTIC — she really does pay attention to your face shape, eyebrow shape, and how to really frame your eyebrows to suit you!)

My eyebrows weren’t as clean as it should’ve been but the shape was not terrible. She cut my skin by my left eyebrow and I didn’t notice until I got home. The skin around my eyebrows broke out as well… after trying so many different threaders I’m losing hope that there’s someone who knows how to do eyebrow threading well :(

I’ve already recommended this to my family and it is the best place to get my eyebrows done. It is so close to my place and just a 5min walk.

Pari is a very lovely woman. It is apparent that she takes a lot of care when threading.
I have been getting my eyebrows threaded for a decade now and I was looking for a new technician in SF area.
Pari was very sweet but unfortunately I was disappointed with the shape of my eyebrows once she was through. They were not as arched as I had wished and at the same time, they were also thinner than what I like. It has taken me several months to grow them back and try to return to a shape I like.
I would recommend being really clear about the shape you want and maybe even bringing a photo so that there is no mistake.

Pari is seriously a pari when it comes to making gals feel good about their brows (Pari translates to «fairy» in English for all my non-​Hindi Unilocalers)! I found her on Unilocal while I was home for spring break and cannot sing enough praises about her :)
I got some typical Indian chewbacca baby eyebrows thanks to my dad’s side of the family and have gotten them threaded since I was 13. Over the years, I’ve gone to individual women who — like Pari– run the business from their home, to Zibas, Hollywood Eyebrow, and the ever popular (but ridiculously bad) Khoobsurat Beauty in the San Jose area.
Unfortunately, anytime I found someone I liked, they either moved or for some reason just started to be lame. As a result, having multiple women work on my brows has led to different shapes and just overall messing up over the years.
After all these bad experiences where someone totally messed up my shape, I was a bit apprehensive about Pari. I walked into her place after calling ahead to make an appointment and let her deal with my three months worth of ungroomed brow.
She is actually amazing. All these reviews are not fake. She’s so meticulous and takes her time talking to you about what you want your brows to look like. I was growing mine out to get back to a more natural and thick shape, and she gave me a new groomed set that looks INCREDIBLE (with a little bit of eyebrow pencil for the spots still growing in).
As an Indian girl, I’ve been to plenty of places where the woman just does whatever and although it might look decent it’s not what you asked for. I’m pretty old-​fashioned but I’m pretty sure that if I’m paying you money to do something, you should do what I ask. Sorry not sorry. Pari is so knowledgeable and isn’t pushy at all about her opinion. She also did one eyebrow for me not touching my arch at all to show me what she thought would look best and let me decide what I wanted.
Also quick plus for her: she speaks perfect English. I’ve had amazing threading done by women who didn’t speak a word in ANY LANGUAGE to me, but having someone you can clearly speak to really puts your mind at ease that there won’t be some type of tragic miscommunication. (plus now all my non-​Punjabi friends can go to her and not be scared)
I’m extremely happy with the work she did and will absolutely be back! :)
PS. If you’re like me and read the «Not Recommended» reviews just to see if theres anything crazy going on, ignore the one that claims Pari charges different prices for different people. There’s a clear pricing list right in front of the threading chair that lists out her prices.

I think Pari might be the best kept secret for eyebrow threading! Luckily I found her on Unilocal!
Location:
Pari does work at home. Take off your shoes! And she works in what looks like her children’s bedroom. The no frill workspace is made up with a reserved parking spot available for her clients. (How rare is THAT??) I wish I’d call and asked before but it’s the #267 parking spot. I might be easy to get lost in the apartment complexes the first time around but it wasn’t too difficult.
Wait:
It IS appointment only so there was no wait at all, which is definitely a breath of fresh air compare to Rani’s Threading experience. I called half an hour advance to asked if she’s available and volia~
Service:
Pari definitely takes her time with you. Going back to the same area again and again if she feel the need to. The first thing she said was «Let me go wash my hands.» which already put me at ease. It’s nice to know she’s not touching my face with any germs.
The most impressive thing was that she did not tweeze my eyebrows afterwards. And yet there’s not a stray hair in sight. Apparently you don’t need to tweeze the stray hairs if you have not.
Price:
It’s still as listed in the picture. 10 for Eyebrows and 5 for Lip.
Bonus:
She gives you little eyebrow massages after she’s done!
Conclusion (TL;DR):
I am going to be a returning customer. Reasonable prices, Great services, Parking available, most of all no wait!

Pari is beyond awesome! She pays close attention to what you want and really takes her time. Even after she is done she checks and rechecks to make sure your eyebrows are perfect, this is hard to come by now a days. Her price is very reasonable and I really appreciate the fact that she will take late apt times, works well when I am stuck at work until late.

Pari was really sweet and made herself available for a last minute appointment at the end of the day. Since she was on my route home, I was hoping this appointment would go well and I can go to her as my regular person for eyebrow threading. I have had my eyebrows threaded for about 6 years now throughout the bay area. Pari is welcoming and after she seated me, she went right to work. When she was done, she handed me a mirror to inspect her work and that was when I noticed a cut on my left eyebrow! She said I wasn’t holding my eye lids down right, but I wish she told me or corrected me before she started working on my eyebrows to prevent the cut. Once I got home, I noticed another cut on my other eyebrow! Although she did a very good job of shaping my eyebrows, I unfortunately have to give her the lowest rating due to the cuts.

Pari is the best! I’ve been a client of hers for over a year now &I will never EVER betray her with any other threader out there again! I was too lazy to make an appointment with her one time &went to Ziba at Serramonte for a clean up. bad decision! The threader completely messed up my shape &once I went back to Pari she definitely noticed that I got my brows done by someone else &was like, «What happened to my work?!» I completely effed up &should’ve never done that. I had to start over. Anyways, this woman knows what shes doing! She finds a way to shape &arch your brows to complement your face. Even if it’s just the eyebrows, she takes her time on them &may even take 30 minutes to make sure that you are satisfied with her work. If you want to try threading, schedule an appointment &go to Pari!

I usually get my brows done in San Jose, but I’m glad I found this place. I was pretty tight on time and needed to get my eyebrows ASAP & so I called. Rana answered and set an appt with me right away. Rana is so nice, gentle, and really takes the time to clean and shape your brows perfectly. I am definitely coming back to her!

I hardly ever review anything on Unilocal,but after today I felt compelled to do so. I was looking for an eyebrow threading place to go to for my first time and stumbled upon Pari Eyebrow Threading through Unilocal.I was a bit apprehensive since there weren’t that many reviews about the place and Pari works from home by appointment only, but it was honestly the best beauty decision I have ever made!
Pari lives right near the Cow Palace but in a gated community that is safe. She also has parking designated for her clients. She is very nice and sweet, and takes her time with you. When compared to waxing the pain is almost non-​existent. My eyebrows have never looked this good and I HIGHLY recommend going to her.
