Ron was a gem. Very responsible and even traveled to San Jose to take my daughter to her test as she could not get a local appointment. My daughter with relatively little driving time passed the first time. She really got a lot out of the sessions and her driving was much improved. I can’t say enough about Ron, only that you will not be disappointed. Best there is!

the instructors here are very kind, they’ll teach all the basic driving skills to pass the hands on exam. eventhough i failed twice i still pass the third test and now i got my license, thanks to Eric.

I just want to say thank you to kuya Ron. Kuya Ron, was amazing and wonderful driving instructor, who taught me the skill I needed in my driving experience. I would highly recommend Kuya Ron to absolutely to everyone. Kuya was very nice and patient with me, when Every time I made mistakes, specially to the point I don’t pay attention. Learning to drive is something I really need to do and I am so pleased I had Kuya Ron to teach me such a important and safety skills. Thank you so much kuya Ron! I finally did it Coz of you. I highly recommend Manila Bay Area Driving school!!! They are very thorough and on point. You will pass your driving test! First, Kuya Robert taught me the basics and they had some handouts for rules and what to expect on the road. Ask for Ron, he is very patient, professional and shows you how to maneuver the vehicle in a way you would understand it best. They are knowledgeable and puts themselves as if like the examiner so you would feel prepared on the day itself. I’ve always thought I would not get things right and get too nervous during the behind the wheel exam but they got me ready and prepared 5 STARS!!!

i went to this driving school for like 2 times before i get my behind-​the-​wheels test.
1^st meeting w/​rob 1 ½ hour of in-​office review for what to do when your already behind the wheels. 2^nd hour he let me drive for 45mins or less. made some right turn and left turn near their office.
2^nd meeting its the day before i took my test w/​ron he let me drive to the routes that dmv examiner WOULD take you. we drive for 4 – 5 different routes.
and 1 of those routes is the route that the examiner gave to me. 5star for this driving school

I passed my driving test!!! Rob was my instructor and he was great :) I paid for 3, two hour lessons, and every weekend Rob and I would practice near the Daly City DMV. Rob was very patient and kind and shared many stories during our lessons. He always made me feel safe and secure. I felt very confident on the day of my behind the wheel drive test since Rob made me very familiar with all the driving routes and procedures. I’m thrilled to say I passed my test with 8 errors and my driving examiner was Lakiesha! Thank you Rob, Tess, and Manila Bay Area Driving School for all your help.

I myself have been teaching my friend how to drive for 3 months. Her behind the wheel test is coming in 2 weeks and I was still not confident with her driving. So I decided to find a driving school for her. I made the best decision! Roberto «Kuya Rob» Mabunga is the best teacher! There is no way my friend would pass the test if it’s not for Kuya Rob. He is very nice and calm. I, as a driver with 10 years experience, actually learned alot from him. Please do yourself a favor. Take lessons with him and I am sure you will have the tools and confidence to pass the test! 5 stars! Or even 6!

I passed my driving test today with first attempt, yheeeey! Driving has never been easy for me but with the help of Manila Bay Area Driving School specially with my Instructor Kuya Ron, i made it!!! Kuya Ron is very nice and supeeeer dupeeeer has alot of patience indeed! He taught me all the skills and techniques that i need to know to pass the test. I definitely recommend Manila Bay Area Driving School for all the aspirant drivers out there not to mention Kuya Ron! You’re the best. Thank you so much!

I have heard a lot of comments about the extremes of the practical driving test. Some people say it’s easy, and some people say it really depends on how nice the instructor is. I took it in stride and enrolled in this driving school to learn where I could possibly fail in the exam so I would avoid the very things that fail most people.
I’m Filipino, and the driving in the Philippines is much, much different than in the States. I wanted to be prepared before I tackled the road. I liked how at the first lesson, kuya Robert gave me an overview of the lessons I would take. He gave descriptions of situations on the road, illustrated them with diagrams on paper so I could visualize them, all before we headed out to the streets. I haven’t driven for a long time, and I’d be lying if I said I was confident with my driving, but kuya Robert’s calm and patient teaching helped me relax on the road and built my confidence and assertiveness as a driver. Shoutout to kuya Eric who subbed in for kuya Robert, too! Candid conversations and driving tips made two hours a breeze for me.
Five stars to the secretaries too for helping me schedule lessons and following up my appointments.
Overall, they gave me great service and teaching. I just passed my driving test on the first try not too long ago and I just recently got the license card. So, thanks MBA Driving School! :)

Driving as a beginner gave me doubts if I would be able to pass the driving test, but with Ron as my instructor, he patiently implemented driving lessons beginning day 1 on how I could cope through oral and written explanations during the actual driving lesson. He made me repeat all routes where I failed to maneuver correct driving techniques most especially when turning left or right lane, stopping full and moving forward to see cars coming to avoid collisions and unnecessary stops or slowing down. His instructions include driving carefully with speed consciousness in mind and making personal decisions during obstacles that cannot be avoided like double parked cars in my lane, respect for pedestrians crossing, proper scanning, and awareness of road signals, parking and backing. Ron expresses encouragement every time I did it right contributing to my self esteem leveling up with his professional instruction skills and as I progressed, his method changed from the examiners’ level that helped me polish my weakest points and build up my confidence in mastering the rules and regulations to become a good and cautious driver. Finally on December 10, 2015, I passed the actual driving test and would like to thank Manila bay driving school and Ron for this achievement.

I finally passed my driving test just with 3 mistakes! Sir robert is a very patient and compassionate instructor. I have been a student of manila bay area driving school for a few months, before i finally decided to take the test.
The first lesson usually comes with an hour class inside the office, teaching the student about the traffic rules and signs before the actual driving itself. They are very thorough on this, even the pens they use are color coded and uniformed! After that, he will already let you drive! I remember, I was so nervous when I first sat on the driver’s side, as it was my first time. Kuya robert calmed me down and we drove through a not-​so-​crowded street first, so I can get used to the wheel, and the car. On the next day, we drove on the main streets, dmv, and the streets close to it. I slowly gained confidence, he told me what my weak points are e. g turning too wide, being too close to the parked cars, etc. Which was a great help as I am aware of what I’m doing wrong. (Some instructors from other schools just sit there and tell you their life’s tale) During the exam day, sir robert gave me an hour and 30 mins lesson, to review everything — which helped a lot to relax the nerves. He even let my bf sit at the back seat when I was driving before the exam itself. It helped a lot, especially if you need a LOT of moral support from someone who is close to you or a family member (I needed it, haha)
Moreover, this driving school isn’t just a school, they are so concerned on their students. I also salute Ms. Tess, she’s one of the school’s secretary. She calls me every time there were updates to my schedule or if something urgent comes up on my side and I can’t come, she’s very accomodating to look for a slot for me. She is a very friendly and approchable lady. Too bad i did not get any chance to meet her in person. I also had sir Ron as my instructor one time when sir robert wasn’t available on the date that I want to take a lesson. Sir ron is one of their senior instructors, same as sir robert. Thinking about it, it was actually a good thing that i had a session with him cause i get to learn other stuff too. He is a very nice man and same as sir robert, very compassionate of what he’s doing. He taught me some tips and polished my backing up skills! =) two instructors are better than one isn’t it? ;)
To make it short, they’re very professional unlike other driving schools (believe me, I’ve tried a bunch) if you really wanna learn how to drive and get your license, you gotta call this driving school now.

Excellent service I would highly recommend! I have been driving in Ireland for almost 7years however, driving in the United States and their laws are a lot different, so before taking my driving test I had a one 2hour lesson with Robert. And I am so glad I did! Having someone go through in detail what to expect from the moment you arrive at the DMV, the test and afterwards, was beyond helpful!
Robert is a very pleasant man with great patience. Irine joined us during my lesson as she is currently in training, both of them made me feel at ease.
I passed with 5minor errors. Very happy!!!

I passed my behind-​the-​wheel exam today with only 5 mistakes. When weeks ago I had ZERO confidence in driving. Kuya Robert made sure I understood the basics of driving and that made all the difference when D-​day came. I would totally recommend MBA driving school to everyone and anyone who’s aspiring to get their driver’s license! It’s 100% worth it!

I passed my driving test today, all the instructors are really awesome, very professional, friendly and comprehend very well. A definite recommendation for all to take lessons from them!

Worth my money! I had Ron as my instructor and I took about 4 classes. He taught me the basics such as driving around Daly City and taught me how to drive in the freeway. They allow you to use their car for the actual behind the wheel test and accompany you to your appointment.
I’d recommend them!

There are so many other schools to choose in the area. Communication is horrible with everyone at this place and not the right way to run a business.
