What makes me do these reviews on chains are the quality of staff. The two guys that were working that day were kind, friendly, and accommodating to my lactose intolerance. They made my drink quick and made sure to say, «have a great day.» It’s the little things that make a small piece of a chain stand out.

My Kale-ribbean still had big, chewable pieces of kale in it, and by the time I realized it, I had driven too far to warrant turning around. The establishment itself, and staff helping me were perfectly wonderful, just maybe rushed a little on the delivery.

I mean… pretty much all Jamba Juices are the same… they always have the same vibrant décor. They always the same smoothies and snacks. And they always have employees who could care less about pretending to be happy. This one is certainly no exception. The smoothie was good, the staff couldn’t have cared less, but I left with a sugar rush so I was happy.

Came in bright and early just a few minutes before opening and Berry(i think that is his name) greeted me with a bright smile and great energy. He was fast when taking my order and making the drink. Depite having early morning setup to do for the store, he was able to get me in and out with my morning Jamba Juice faster than ever. Great jobn great experience!

Been here a good amount of times especially since it’s location is very convenient. Haven’t had too many issues with my drinks but I’ve received my drinks either too watery or not even blended enough. I mean maybe it’s just the staff that I run into each time especially since it seems to be different each time i walk-in.

My smoothie was only partially filled. When playing over $ 6 for a smoothie, I expect to at least get a fully filled cup of smoothie. What a rip off…

When I don’t crave for a heavy meal Jamba Juice is my go to place for a replacement meal. Yep, you know when the night before you’ve had that steak and lobster combo meal and just feeling sluggish. I just pass by Jamba Juice and treat myself to an apple kale smoothie. Their juice menu has changed over the years. Oh my, did I say years? I think their first branch was back in the 1990s when the food trends such as frappuccino and smoothies took us all by storm. In my opinion, Jamba Juice would be a more healthier way to take in your calories than the *ahem* sugar laced«icedchino.» Don’t get me wrong, I love, love, love my venti caramel macchiatos. And I know there sugar in them juices too. But as I said JJ has changed their menu to fit today’s latest health food trends. Aside from their known wheat grass shots they’ve added more leafy greens to mix into your smoothie. Yes they added kale to the menu and even chia seeds. So when you’re on the go and no time to prepare a power juice smoothie JJ is the place. This particular branch(westlake) is pretty descent, clean and the staff is personable(evening/weekday shift group — you guys are Awesome). If you have certain allergies to specific fruits just tell the cashier, they prepare it on different blenders at back as a precautionary. Also have to add their secret menu drinks. Okay folks get your note pads out. These smoothies are more like a dessert replacement(for me) some are on the really sweet side and the others tarty. I find that not all branches have knowledge of all the secret menu drinks, but doesn’t hurt to ask. Sweet secret menu smoothies: Apple pie smoothie(taste like apple pie), white or green gummy bear(taste reminiscent of gummy bear candy), sour patch kids(haha yes like the candy), strawberry dream machine(taste like strawberry frozen yogurt), sunny delight(just a notch up from your regular orange juice b/c of the lime sherbet), piña colada(my fave, this drink will not disappoint), skittles(taste the rainbow!), Reese’s pieces(want peanut butter?), orchard oasis(this smoothie has peaches pineapples, blueberries and strawberries), butterfinger(yes as in candy, this smoothie has carrot juice in it — I couldn’t tell. Let me know what your tastebuds tell ya). Lastly if you like your smoothie on the tarty side try Thank you Jesus(the juice base is lemonade). Happy Juicing!

I had some questions about the ingredients in the boost(s) and the employee here seemed overwhelmed and confused. I felt bad and retracted, deciding to seek answers by consulting with Dr. Google online. They might have just started working there, after all. The smoothie I ordered was alright. It was a bit sweeter than usual but not overwhelmingly so.

Ordered a white gummy here before class, and I was drinking it I pulled out a small(but big enough to be noticed) plastic shaving from my mouth. I thought, ‘maybe it’s just that one piece,’ so I took two more sips. With each sip there were more plastic shavings. I was disgusted and had to go back. They made me a new one, but it was the same problem. I ended up throwinf my cup away. There goes $ 5):

I just absolutely love their service here. Friendly and lively. Most their staff is always quick to resolve any issues without putting any burden of a bad experience on the customer. This location can easily be 4+ stars. On a hot mid 80s day like last friday when I’m just dying to have a nice cold tart Pomegranate Paradise, of course I’m going to make my way over to Jamba Juice. I think of fresh fruits when hitting Jamba but at this location I think of fresh fruit flies. :(It’s as annoying as it is disgusting especially when they get airborne on us going for an all out airstrike. I mentioned it once a couple of months back to their supervisor and their response was«It’s always like that…» I was like O_o)??? Is that your final answer!!! Other Jamba Juice locations such as the one on Market Street or 9th Ave haven’t had this issue that I have noticed throughout the years. It would be nice to know that the management is trying to work on pest control. From their answer it doesn’t sound like that was their priority. They still have fruit flies all over their ceiling as of last friday. Yack!!!

Have not stop by Jumba Juice for a long long time and I saw one on my way. I ordered the Kids Jumba: Poppin Peach Mango for my son, he loves it. I tried a sip and suprised the drink is much better than mine. The cup is so cute too. Next time, I will just order two Kids Jumba: one for me, one for my son。

Asked for matcha green tea blast. They had to remake it 4 times and it tasted unbearably nasty still because they didnt make it correctly tasting like bitter matcha powder textures. Not creamy like it usually is… I just threw it in the trash can the 4th time. Been here a bazillion times before and they never had trouble making it before… New workers today maybe?

Service is noticeably better here. For one, whenever there’s a coupon, other stores would not accept it if I showed them the coupon from my phone. They never once gave me a hard time with mobile coupons here. Two, they have later hours here than the one at Serramonte. And last but not least, friendly staff here. I know Jamba is known for their smoothies but their oatmeal with brown sugar crumble kicks ass. Ask for extra crumble, it’s like dessert.

This is an average JJ, but the layout of its interior made it feel smaller than the others. The order-line easily overlaps with those waiting for their prepared drinks, which also blocks the route to their restroom; a traffic jam at one spot. Three stars. But because it’s the nearest one to where I live, I’m bias and would return here most often(additional half of a star each to get it up to four stars).
