I’m not a pro or an amateur photographer, I’m still learning an upgrading my beginner Canon DSLR equip. Wolf Camera in other cities has given me good customer service but I was very disappointed in the customer service in this store. The guy in the black vest called another employee off of break to help me(I should have known this wouldn’t go well). Yep the guy was arrogant and tried to put me down for not knowing exactly what lens I wanted, and why I was stupid to be looking at a new Canon body. I even told him I had a couple thousand budgeted for a better lens. Why don’t stores understand the importance of good customer service? I told him to go back on break and I’ll now drive miles to another camera store in Irving to spend money(fingers crossed). This is the only time I wish I could give a ZERO rating.

Dave was particularly helpful and knowledgeable about cameras in general but more specifically Fuji cameras. Grateful for all of his help and information.

I had an excellent experience buying my Fujifilm XT1. However, I went in for a Nikon cable after borrowing my friend’s Nikon D4 last year and was treated very rudely by one of the female associates. She told me I had to order the cable directly from Nikon, even though it was a generic cable that should be available anywhere. When I told her I needed the cable that day, she proceeded to try to walk me thru the merits of a card reader, which she said was better than the cable I needed. I get that, but my friend asked me to get him the cable for his Nikon. When she proceeded to tell me step-by-step instructions on the card reader, I got frustrated and told her I’m a professional and I know how a card reader works. She then told me how nice my Canon was, so I shoved the D4 in her face and said, ‘It’s a Nikon!’ I will never shop with Wolf Camera EVER again. I went to Competitive Camera, got the cable I needed, and I will never return to Wolf for any photographic need.

I’ve just used them for online developing of photos. Their Ritz-Pix app that you have to use is a bit of an antiquated system if you ask me, but I was eventually able to get what I needed. The place was a bit slammed while I was there — seemed like the staff was having a hard time keeping up but it was holiday season so there were a million people trying to develop photos. If you need to get something developed ASAP, it’s as good as any I suppose. Lots of expensive camera gear for sale as well, but I didn’t check any of that out.

Worst customer service ever. I walked that store for over thirty minutes looking at items and not once did any ask me if they could help me. I will never buy from that store.

SO thankful for them! My camera wouldn’t take pictures, except if they were all black. I took it in and they worked on my shutter for free! See them if you need help — you won’t regret it!

I only took one picture of the family dog. Not a professional just an amateur looking for a nice print out. The computers were not very user friendly, I know how to use Photoshop but their computers threw me. Had to wait for help due to staff helping others, again, due to the system not being very intuitive at all. There’s a big sign in front of each computer that says«Don’t use the Auto-Enhance button» Ok, got it. However, the button actually says Enhance Photo. Which I took as leading to another menu to manually enhance contrast and colors individually… nope this was the button you’re not supposed to touch. I tried to explain to the nice lady who was helping us that if they have a ton of people still using the button they didn’t want the customers to use even after the warning signs that it’d be helpful to have it match the actual words on that button Enhance Photo. I had already learned my lesson and was only trying to give helpful information for them. She wanted to explain to me repeatedly that Auto Enhance was the same as Enhance Photo. I tried to explain to her that of course it made sense to them but maybe not so much to us end users. She was a nice lady but a terrible listener. In the middle of her helping us she had to help someone else again. When our ticket didn’t print out like it was supposed to I started looking around to see if any of the other staff members had been freed up. One guy was working at the register with no customer directly in front of him so I thought I’d at least see if he was free. He looked up and noticed I was headed toward him and instead of acknowledging me and saying, «I’m with another customer and we’ll be right with you» he simply ignored me and headed quickly to his current customers to escape me! Instead of making me feel like an important customer he made me feel like I was carrying the plague to him! What kind of customer service is that? He deserves one star and some people skills and multitask training. I certainly hope he’s not the manager! When we picked up the prints the lady who printed them out was super nice. The prints came out fine. It’s the only reason I’m giving two stars and not one.

Avoid this«photography» store if you’re a professional. Fine for amateurs that want pretty accurate, slow, developing. Pros: –With simple film processing(nothing complicated), they develop colors fairly well. Cons: –Terrible customer service(long waits & lines; impatient, unhelpful staff) –Are not true film«professionals». Give them something unorthodox and they will scratch their heads and mess it up.(Example: Film not already in a canister) –Ruined a roll of my film and still charged me for the processing after I asked for a refund. My Story: I show up to develop my film at 4pm, they don’t close until 7pm, but they tell me it’ll take until tomorrow to develop 2 rolls of 35 mm because their machines had been down for a few weeks. Fine. So I gave them my 2 rolls of film to develop and they ruined one of them completely. When I asked for a refund they refunded only half of my money. They still charged me for the processing. That’s right, they charged me to ruin a whole roll of my carefully chosen memories. Angry and disappointed.
