The West End just isn’t what it used to be. There’s still the few restaurants and bars in the area but you just don’t really feel the energy it had a few decades ago. That being said, it is part of Dallas history and still attracts a good amount of out-​of-​towners for special events. The Bodies exhibit is interesting (although not for the squeamish) and I imagine Landry’s and the other restaurants still do a decent job. However, we didn’t like those dudes trying to sell us roses while walking the street. No means NO.
