Valvoline Instant Oil Change

Quick service oil change was just that, I was in and out in just 15 minutes. They weren’t pushy on the upsell for additional services and extremely polite the whole time. I even got a free car wash good for the place next door.
Solid, quality service will have me return the next time I need an oil change.

A pushy technician insisted the coolant tank was over filled. Later I found out they added over a quart of extra oil (which would have damaged my engine had I not had the oil change re-​done.) After a few weeks of emailing and trying to get a refund I decided it was time to warn the masses. Quick service is not worth costly repairs.

I have been coming to this Valvoline for about 4 years. It used to be great — really fast service with knowledgeable employees. However, over about the past year, it has slowly started to go down hill (which I noticed coincides with employee turnover.) The instance that prompted this review was on Monday, June 8^th. I went in at 4 pm for an oil change. No one came out and asked me what I needed, so I just picked the shortest line (one car in front of me) and waited. When it was my turn to pull into the bay, the employee was very rude about trying to steer me in. Still — no one asked what I needed. They immediately ask me to pop my hood and start giving me an oil change. The asked me for my mileage, which I gave them a total of SIX times. No one asked me about my filters. No one checked my brake pads. I had to ask TWICE before they would check my tire pressure. I was there for over an hour, yet the service was awful. No one showed me the dipstick after the oil was put in. I mentioned an online coupon TWICE, yet it was not credited to my bill. And to top it all off, all of the employees were arguing with each other and had the boss (someone named Justin?) on the phone trying to sort it out. I will NOT be going back to this Valvoline, if I go back to a Valvoline at all.

150.00 for an oil change and they are the rudest employees I have ever seen. They act like they are doing me a favor by changing my oil. I won’t be back

This location had some of the best service from an automotive location. Even better than a dealership! I give this place 5 stars not ONLY for the AWESOME Asst Manager Corey, but also for the speedy service, Easy location, and product quality!
I will surely be back and recommend to anyone who asks!

I am currently sitting at this location, and have been for about an hour and a half! Theses people are so slow and are charging me $ 130 for an oil change. I will not be returning and do not recommend this place at all.

My friend and I went here for her to get an oil change in her 2011 Ford Escape a few weeks ago. Everyone was really nice and everything, and they upsold her like crazy. She ended up getting new filters and all sorts of other things. Well not long after we left, her car started jumping very aggressively if the accelerator was pressed just a bit too hard. We tacked it up to all the work that had been done and figured it needed time to adjust and went on our way.
Fast forward to a few days later, and the car is still jumping pretty badly. It runs and everything, but the jumping and jerking is terrible. She took it to her dad, who told her to take it bring it back to the Valvoline. The next day we brought it back and were told that her transmission fluid was low, which was causing the problem. He filled it up for free, and we went on our way. It jumped a tiny bit but once again we figured it had to adjust.
Fast forward to tonight. The car has been jumping a little here and there, but tonight on the highway, it jumped like crazy and refused to accelerate. She had to pull off of the highway and wait for her dad to come get her. The car is useless until we can find what the real issue is and what the hell these «nice» guys did to her car.
Needless to say, she’s taking it back ASAP and giving them a piece of her mind.

Came in for an inspection. From the looks of it, one guy there is on top of things, the rest are not. the second that guy put my car in a bay and left it to the others, it just went downhill.
Car gets inspected. Everything passes. Awesome. Waiting to cash out. Waiting some more. As I wait, I witness one bay where the guy almost forgets to put the engine bay cover back on the car. They only notice because it was next to the car as it was about to start rolling away.
Guy finally rings me up and I pay for the inspection. Sends me on my way. I tell him I probably shouldn’t leave without my insurance (which is on a clipboard in front of his face). No big deal. Get in my car. Where are my keys? I ask the crew. Guys don’t know. Proceed to search. They dropped them under my driver seat (and we all know the fun in trying to get your keys out from the cave). Why they didn’t put the keyfob in the slot, beyond me.
Drive a few feet. Trunk alert. Seriously? Did they just forget everything? Close trunk. Start driving again, notice something at my feet. They forgot to put the ODB cap back on.
Left greasy prints and my steering wheel dirty as well. The least you could do is wipe up after yourself.
I can only imagine what they forget when you get real service from them. If you go here, check EVERYTHING before leaving. They may just forget to put oil in your car entirely.

Stopped in last week to get my state inspection done. Unlike the Mobile 1 across the street, Valvoline was polite, professional and very speedy with my inspection. This will definitely be my new go to spot for state inspections.

It was a FAST oil change. Took less than 10−15min. And the workers do work together to get it done as fast as possible. BUT, it was expensive and they charge a service fee. I paid $ 70 for an oil change and a cabin filter. Don’t know if I will be returning because of the high price.

These guys continuously try to up-​sell you to more or more expensive services, most of which are of dubious value. They have crossed the line into complete fabrication and dishonesty with me. They told me my radiator coolant was «bad». After questioning they told me it would freeze when winter comes. After more questioning they told me they had measured it with a hydrometer and it had NO antifreeze in it at all. I couldn’t believe all this, since I recently had the radiator flushed and the coolant changed. I went to another service place and watched them measure the radiator coolant with a hydrometer — it a nice red-​pink color, clean, and good for 45 degrees below zero. So much for professionalism and honesty.

Awesome young men! The PrincessMobile felt really well taken care of. I was even able to get her rear window blade replaced. I was in and out in less than 15 minutes. This is our new oil change home.

All three guys that were there today were great! My oil was changed in less than fifteen minutes and they went over everything with me regarding my car. Jered changed my oil and Brandon and the other guy gave me the info I needed to know for my car! My oil change also came with a free car wash! Keep it up guys!

Fast, friendly, and reliable! We never hesitate to take our cars to the experts at Valvoline. As long as we continue to live nearby, they have our business!
