Specialties
Two Corks and a Bottle is a custom winery and wine bar located at the Quadrangle at Routh and Laclede in the Uptown area. Our guests can relax at our cozy bar with a glass of wine or they can take a bottle home to enjoy. We make all of our own wines and you can come in and make yours, too. We love to host bottling parties — whether it’s a birthday or office party, we guarantee you that it’ll be an amazing experience!
You can also come in for a wine tasting or can even create your own custom label! We have entertainment on Thursday and Saturday evenings, a gourmet pizza wagon the first Thursday of the month. Wednesdays and Fridays include live bands, psychic night, painting, and more! Happy Hour is 4−7pm Tues-Fri with 25% off glasses of our premium wine!
Our Two Corks Wine Club provides a great opportunity to enjoy a new wine every month for a fraction of the cost of most imports. You receive discounts on everything at Two Corks including events, making your own wine and more!
History
Established in 2011.
John and Elwyn opened the doors of Two Corks and a Bottle on July 7, 2011.
During Christmas of 2009, John’s brother sent out a bottle of wine HE made for Christmas. John later visited his brother in Michigan and tagged along with him to make another batch of wine. This concept of making and corking your own wine was so exciting to John that he had to bring it back to Dallas.
Upon returning to Dallas, John reached out to his best friend Elwyn. One thing led to another and now we have Two Corks and a Bottle, ready to serve our guests with our special wines!
Elwyn retired in September 2013 but John is still here along with some fun and expert staff to help you with your wine needs!

John L.
Business Owner
Being in the non-profit/not-for-profit, IT, finance and customer support areas most of his life, John wanted something a little more exciting! Originally, with his best friend Elwyn, they opened up their own winery and wine bar. Elwyn has since retired leaving John as the primary «cork». He’s here to provide you with a great experience enjoying wine!
