SOI Brow Threading

I had a very good experience getting my entire face threaded for the first time! Used a Unilocal deal to try out. Will be back for eyebrow threading.

Livid !!! I would love to leave a good review from the past 2 times I’ve been here and received mediocre service. Purvi recently did my eyebrows and I’m very disappointed I asked if she could thread them a little thinner in the corner since I can’t afford to come ever week. She says «No «I have to make the entire brow thinner. I agree because I don’t have to the money to keep coming back. I’ve always had relatively thick eyebrows and the fact that she cut them completely off hurts my feelings. Don’t waste your money here go somewhere else where they know what they are doing smh.

Been coming here for about a year now, after getting waxed most of my adult life. I’ve only ever received threading services; if I want waxing I go to a waxing salon. I’ve never been unsatisfied with a service here. Threading is more painful than waxing, in my experience, but I feel like it’s better for my skin. My skin doesn’t get irritated since the threads are only pulling up hair, not tugging on the skin. And of course there’s no risk of being burned. I think the prices are great, especially since they offer discounts on multiple services and for repeat customers. And it’s cool to get to listen to bhangra while you’re there!

I went to this location to get an eyebrow threading 2 weeks ago; and that was a wonderful experience. However, I went yesterday for a bikini wax and it was not. I didn’t feel like the room was sanitary because there was the white paper lined on the table that was obviously soiled from a previous client. I asked if I could discard it in the hopes of getting a clean one and was promptly told «no, its fine». I was not given anything to cover up with before she came in to work on me, and I just felt weird laying there like that. The lady that did the service was quite rude, and handled me very roughly. I will not be going back for any waxing for sure. Horrible experience.

I purchased the Unilocal deal and I’m so happy that I did. My experience was wonderful, my henna tattoo came out lovely, and the customer service is amazing. I have been going every week to get henna done. It’s a special treat, instead of eating a slice of cake or something that’ll add to my love handles. Nonetheless, the owner is extremely sweet, her energy is beautiful and i recommend coming to either location, for eyebrow, chin, lip, etc threading and of course henna.
P. S. The salon is BEYOND CLEAN! I just love it!

Stopped by here as a convenient option after work — didn’t feel like driving over 15 miles to a location in Uptown. Shop wasn’t busy at all, so I didn’t wait long (after checking in) to be serviced. Sumi listened to my preferences and executed her job well! I came out with great shaped brows and little pain (after she was done)! Will definitely be back to use my 20% off coupon ;)

The eyebrow threading was superb: quick and with stellar results. However, I also had a bikini waxing done and the results were novice at best. An inordinate amount of hair in the bikini area was not even removed; it just broke off at the skin and left what felt like shaving stubble. It felt rushed, doubly painful. Additionally, there was a lot of hair left over that I had to tweeze individually when I got home, which took quite some time to my dismay. The patches of hair removed were also too large with each strip, which suggests the practitioner was not conscientious about my experience.
I will definitely go back for eyebrow shaping, but if you want a good wax job, go to a place that specializes in it or you will end up with shoddy results, a lot of pain, and general regret, not something worth paying for. Plus, the waxing rooms are not well set up; they are bare, nowhere to put your things. Perhaps an aesthetic critique, but the details speak to the general quality of the service and experience. It was not a professional or client-​centered experience.
Threading: excellent. Highly recommended.
Waxing: no way.

First time at this salon and I was pleasantly surprised. Smita was very friendly, the location is convenient for me after work, and the current Unilocal deal is great! It wasn’t busy AT ALL, but I hope more people discover this little gem. :)

Really great threading salon. I like they specialize in getting rid of unwanted hair. It hurt pretty bad, but that’s because it was my first time. I had my eyebrows and lip done. Wow! I’m so smooth now! I will be back.
