Ray’s Delivery & Moving

Tommy and his crew packed up our three bedroom apartment and moved us into a 2500 sq. foot home in less than 5 hours, including drive time from one city to another, on a Sunday — incredible. They were super friendly. took pride in their jobs, and barely stopped to take a breath. The quality of the service was outstanding for the inexpensive price. I was a little hesitant to hire them at first because the cost seemed extremely low compared to the competitors (another company quoted us around $ 1700!). That wasn’t the case at all. We paid about $ 450 and it was worth every penny. My only complaint is that a couple of our pieces had minor scratches on the surfaces. They did a good job wrapping the sides of the furniture, but some of the faces were left a little exposed. Overall, though, I can’t complain. These guys were a tremendous value and they seemed very honest and genuine. I highly recommend them.
Update: We noticed our large dehumidifier never made it to our new location. We contacted the company but they didn’t find it. We’re almost certain the dehumidifier made its way on to the truck, so that’s disappointing.

I’ve used Ray’s several times now and will always use Ray’s! They are friendly and entertaining as well as fast and efficient! They are careful with your possessions and have never had any issue with them. In fact, they fixed a shoddy job some movers my parents had hired had done in a storage unit.

I used them to move this past week. Everything was great, they were professional and courteous. We went from a 2 bedroom 3 story town home into a single family 4 bedroom 2 story home. It took them 3.5 hours. They charged me $ 385 for it. When I first contacted them, they told me they charge $ 85/​hr. So the numbers don’t add up. When I went back to the contract I signed, they charged me 1 hr just to get to my place. So they have a hidden fee of $ 85 just to get to your location, not counting the time to travel between the locations. I’m not sure if this is new, but I know I’m not going to use them again. Everything comes down to detail, he went very fast with the contract, and I did notice, but I didn’t want to fight it with the movers. I did tip them very generously. but would warn you to make sure to ask if they charge just to get to your house.

These guys are the best. Aside from The supervisor griping at the guys the whole time (of course that is good since he is telling them to get moving…). This is the 3^rd move for me. They moved my business and house. They are awesome. I will not ever use another moving company. They have great attitudes and work hard and careful with your items.

These guys are great. They work incredibly hard, were extremely careful and are really fun. They moved us first into a POD. It was about 2300 gsf and they finished in about 3 hours. They also moved us into the new house in about the same time, in pouring rain. We tried to get them to take a break in the driving rain but they are f dedicated. They even walked on the runners we put down to protect the carpet. They have great attitudes and were hilarious. It was about $ 350 and they sent 3 guys. Tip them good… They are worth it!
