Specialties
Established in 1993, Nova Collection’s arrangements and style have weathered the economic storms, changing trends, and the continual transformation of the Dallas Design District.
Starting at San Lorenzo in the 90’s, Tamara worked at the Design District location for many years before managing the floral department in north Dallas store. Upon the business’s closing, she ventured out and started her own company, Nova Collection. She worked from her home studio and then moved back to the Design District into an 800 square foot space on Slocum street! Since then, Nova Collection has moved several more times within the Design District and now permanently resides at 132 Cole St.
She has seen other floral design companies come and go… and yet, here is she is, still standing. She offers great customer service, friendship, integrity, quality, and above all, beautiful design.

Meet the Business Owner
Tamara T.
Business Owner
Tamara’s start with floral design was in fresh flowers. She grew up digging in the dirt with her father in her hometown of Chicago and studied fresh floral design before moving to Dallas. She landed a job at San Lorenzo in the Dallas Design District in the 90’s and worked in the floral department. When San Lorenzo expanded to North Dallas, she managed the floral department there while taking on personal clients.
Just as many entrepreneurs are born, she was forced to take a risk when the store suddenly closed. Instead of finding another company to work for, she ventured out on her own. Twenty years later, she has successfully owned and operated Nova Collection, moving from her home studio, to an 8’x100’ space, to a space of more than 5,000 square feet now.
The longevity of her business speaks to the quality of her work and the relationships that have enabled her success. Come find out for yourself why Dallas’ designers trust Tamara’s creativity and craft.
